In democratian land, the 1st Amendment doesn't apply to Washougal

The clowns running the democratian have never demanded a county-wide (or any other "wide," for that matter) vote on the CRC scam.

The people of this county have repeatedly voiced their opposition to this blivet these slime schizophrenically support through their ballot indirectly, most recently a few months ago when the voters county-wide unceremoniously dumped pro-CRC Commissioner Marc Boldt in favor of strongly anti-CRC Commissioner David Madore.

The people of this county, when allowed (tens of thousands of us are not allowed to vote on CTran funding, just "allowed" to pay it) have routinely sent the message at the ballot box that we do not want loot rail.

The problem for this project is that more and more people are coming to find out that the entire basis for this massive, unneeded, unwanted, unaffordable waste of billions is the camel's nose under the tent flap approach of jamming loot rail down our collective throat... all without asking us.

The people have been lied to, repeatedly, by those who are pledged not to lie... and the democratian has been a willing accomplice in that agenda.

I believe, with an obvious passion, that if you have to lie to get your bill, your policy, your project passed... then your bill, your policy, your project should not BE passed.

The entirety of this scam is based on lie and exaggerations.  And most of all, the most important element... is the scum behind this massive theft on a titanic scale have never allowed a vote.  And they've never allowed a vote, primarily, because they know they'd lose.

Left to the fact that the voice of the people has been deliberately silenced; or, in the case of the despicable rag's refusal to acknowledge the basis for these elective setbacks of those they've supported county-wide, there are only so many ways for the majority of the population to express their opposition to this horrific rip off.

Most of us who love democracy never, ever refer to the expression of any group or government as a "waste of time."

But not the rag.

Unfortunately for them and the rest, those paying attention are well aware of the fact that those shilling the CRC scam, which BY POLICY, set out to ignore the will of the people and the input of the people, view ANY statement of opposition, no matter where it comes from "as a waste of time."
Because these scum don't want to extend the 1st Amendment to those who oppose their view.

Instead of opposing the efforts of a group of people shut out of the process as a matter of policy and by design, this newspaper, if they were ever concerned for our community, would foster this kind of thing instead of exhibiting the rank, reeking hypocrisy of criticizing the Washougal City Council for expressing the concerns of the people they would govern.... since they refuse to demand that we all be given that privilege.  So, local government is left to do it when they have the courage... which led the scum at the Lazy C to trowel THIS garbage out.
Jeers: To wasting time in Washougal. The city council was the latest to divert its attention from municipal affairs to consider an inflammatory if meaningless resolution opposing the Columbia River Crossing. Some of the project's most bitter opponents, led by state Sen. Don Benton, R-Vancouver, have been urging this inaccurate time-waster on the county's small town city councils. On March 18, Battle Ground councilors spent time and energy before rejecting a resolution. In Washougal's case, the notion occupied a chunk of this week's meeting and will be back up for discussion again at the next council meeting.
What the scum like Laird and Brancaccio think about this issue is as irrelevant as the despicable, lying rag they work for.

And, in typical democratian fashion, the scumbag who wrote this trip neglected to mention that the what the Battle Ground councilors "rejected" was a resolution IN SUPPORT of this massive rip off.
On Monday night, the council voted 4-3 against a resolution that would have supported a “locally preferred option” for the proposed megaspan. With the vote, the city effectively stays neutral on how the $3.4 billion project moves forward.
And, of course, they deliberately left our Woodland's resolution in opposition to this massive waste.
— The Woodland City Council soundly rejected a resolution offering symbolic support to the Columbia River Crossing project during Monday night’s meeting.
The council voted 4-1 in opposition to a resolution supporting the proposed $3.6-billion bridge, highway and transit improvement project. Members cited financial concerns about the project.
Why is that?

Just a tiny detail in the mold of ALL the tiny details these slime leave out.

They mouth the words of the low-life's pushing their own agenda at our expense for generations.  And they do all they can to silence those who oppose them.

And that kind of Nazi mentality is detrimental to this community in uncounted ways.  That the democratian, who has lied, exaggerated, belittled, attacked, and done all they can to make this crap pile happen is opposed to efforts to formalize opposition to their scam is not surprising.

That they would call any government's efforts to express the perspective of those they would govern a "waste of time?"

Himmler would be proud of that kind of arrogance.  But short of attacking the CRC building with torches and pitch forks... which continues to vaporize 4 million taxpayer dollars a month on their already rejected bridge design scam.... and having been censored by Tim "The Liar" Leave-it who views free speech in the same way the scum running the democratian does.... what other ways are left to express the overwhelming opposition to this rip off?

And, of course, here's the thing:

If they had been looking at a resolution in SUPPORT of this unutterably massive rip off...

...do you think, for one minute... that the rag would have CONDEMNED such an effort?

Of course not.  If nothing else, these scum reek with hypocrisy.  And they have yet to condemn Vancouver for any of their stupidity in support of this scam.

Mere coincidence, I'm sure.
