It's a rookie mistake, because, of course, there are a wide variety of ways to access a page like Mike's. But I anticipated such a move, so I had already went over it and copied what I needed.
Dalesandro is one of those leftist whack jobs who believe that business owners should, in fact, be forced to violate their religious beliefs because of the fringe nutter cause dejour, in this case, the brave individuals at the bakery located in Gresham that made the decision not to play their idiotic, activist game and refuse to bake them a "wedding" cake.
I believe that to be their right. Fringe-left nutter Delasandro?
Not so much.
This, of course, has nothing to do with "civil rights" law: it's moronic for this clown to think it does.Mike Dalesandro commented on a link.
The owner of the bakery is violating state law. Period. Religion should not be used to deny full and equal rights. Just ask James Madison who said in his speech while introducing the Constitution "The civil rights of none, shall be abridged on account of religious belief or worship, nor shall any national religion be established, nor shall the full and equal rights of conscience be in any manner, or on any pretext infringed." This is a civil rights issue. The bakery is not a religious institution, it's a business licensed by the state and local authorities to operate under those laws. Kudos to Oregon and Washington for having such a law in place. Let's hope the Federal government will make sexual orientation discrimination illegal, as well, someday very soon.
I'm not all that sure that he wants the people of Battle Ground to know of his leftist proclivities and view that those out to foment an issue... as these clowns were... should be rewarded for that effort.
There is much more to come... and this playground, I don't stand behind my words to all comers cowardice of Dalesandro is just another reason he shouldn't be elected dog catcher.
