Commissioners to approve anti-CRC resolution: fringe-left heads explode.

So, the commissioners are going to jam a stick in the CRC scam's spokes today: Stuart rather cowardly isn't around, apparently.  The big question for me remains this:

If, as the rabid left suggests, this is a waste of time... then why did 100 people turn out?  Why are the fringers so stridently opposed to this?

Even Jon Russell is still stirring the pot from across the entire country.

  1.  is someone still shouting? For the past 18 minutes?
No. The shouting ended 17.9 minutes ago. It was polite I think, couldn't hear what he said.
(MEMO to Russell: what we do here? How we do it?

None of your fricking business. Get back to corrupting Culpeper.)

Anywho, Greg "My Ballpark Scam Struck Out" Owens' head explodes with another lie:

We all know how this is going to go already. Madore, whose ONLY issue is the CRC will vote yes. Stuart, who is the only commissioner with common sense, will vote no. And Mielke, who never actually does any work to research or analyze ANY issue, will vote yes, thinking it will protect his re-election again.
He then rather (and typically, moronically) whines:

Facts, Mike? It is my opinion, based on prior behaviours. Perhaps you would like to submit your own? Let's wait to see the outcome. I would be quite surprised if I am wrong.

    Few others would be.

This kind of tripe from Owens is based on Mielke's staunch opposition to Ownes' abortive plan to scam this entire county with a ballpark rip off.  Looks like he's never gotten over it.

Briggs is babbling as usual, apparently unaware that if we're so backwards around here, he can always move.  here's his latest stupidity:

This is just another example of a bully wanting to get his way.
Yeah.  Implementing the will of the people is a "bully wanting to get his own way."

    What a pure scumbag.

Sadly, this is quite true Bill.

Clark County needs to look forward not backward. With the economy to be going forward Clark County needs to loot at this and try to maximize who and what they are. Fortune smiles on the bold...not the weak or recessive. This "new" commission is not going to end up good for Clark County.

But people believe they must fight back because they are (fearful) and angry. Madore has captured that sentiment and is using it for his own warped sense of righteousness and power. Does he really think he will be drawing more jobs here by thwarting a new bridge, a new mass transit system, by (defacto) leaving a traffic problem on I-5 to go unattended, to spend precious Commission time by making war against progressive ideals? This man thinks he is some kind of a religious/crusader. We don't need that. We need jobs and we need a County looking toward the future and to be able to work WITH people, NOT against people.

This is the same kind of "guns and bibles" bullshit from his hero, Obama.

To a fringe-leftest whack job like Briggs, whenever people are aligned in opposition to the garbage he supports, whenever an elected official actually speaks for those who elected him, it's this kind of playground bullshit they use to characterize it:

To a nutter like Briggs, the agenda outweighs the will of the people.  The will of the people in Briggs' (And Moeller's, for that matter) warped world should be completely disregarded in the name of their "progressive ideals."

Well, here, I can say: "fuck off."  That's not how this works.

Stuart rather conveniently, isn't there.  Many of the morons present believe his absence (which is quite deliberate) should be enough.... by itself.... to stop any further discussion.

Unlike the leftist morons at the meeting, I now have to do something called "work."

I'll be back in a few hours...
