The horrific failure of the Fed on Sandy.

Remember how Bush was excoriated for the response of the federal government to those morons living below sea level in New Orleans back in '05?

Remember how Obama was excoriated for the response of the federal government to the victims of Sandy on Staten Island in '12?

No?

Me neither.

Run the NY Marathon?  What are they going to do, have the runners hop over the bodies?

Staten Island is a disaster of increasingly unbearable proportions.  Obama used these poor bastards for the obligatory photo ops (that some of the more gullible appear to be believing) and then.... what?

The double-standard and lack of proctological scope used on Bush in 05 as opposed to now is palpable.

Obama hasn't missed a beat in his campaign.  What's a few bodies, a few billion dollars and the misery of tens of thousands compared to the Empty Suit's re-election?  Nor has he done what needs to BE done in Staten Island, among other places.

We should park a fleet off the Island.  We should provide total logistical support from Guard and Active Duty assets in the region.  Where are they?

Food, water, power, fuel.  Where the hell is it?

I look at the video from the area... the hour's-long wait for fuel... the price-gouging... the failure to provide even basic sanitation for these people...

Gotta tell you: it's like Truman said: the buck stops.... where?

If Obama gets the credit for all the "positive," then why isn't he being held responsible for the massive failures that have been his administration?

There is so much more that needs to be done... that COULD be done, and that ISN'T being done.

And who is responsible?  And, importantly, where are those who are SUPPOSED to hold him responsible?

Too damned busy feeling the tingle run up their collective leg.

Despicable.
