The latest numbers show that Marc's democrat base is coming through for him as opposed to his fellow democrat Roman Battan.
Boldt stayed steady as a percentage of around 29.5; Madore increased his lead to 32 and Battan fell off slightly to 28.8 or so.
Benton's lead increased to 3%, Mielke leads in his primary over Joe Tanner by 13% (42.75 to 29.26)
This is definitely a right break. Marc's democrat support has come out of Battan's hide; any other election and it would be Madore and Battan.
But Marc is an 8-year incumbent, and failing to break even 30% in a primary is rightfully called a disaster.
Another surprise in Clark County is Jaime Herrera's abysmal showing.
Had a serious candidate actually ran a credible campaign against her based on her cowardice alone, she would be in serious trouble. Her number here of 55.43% against what amounts to zero opposition tends to show that courage is, in fact, one of the tenets people look for in their leaders... and Herrera, of course, doesn't have it. Her cowardice in failing to hold regular open town hall meetings indicate she's unfiot for elective office, no matter what her positions or actions in Congress may be.
McKenna's pathetic showing, which would be even lower given his moronic remarks and support of the CRC scam that came out yesterday, is a sign that his hard-right jerk in an effort to scam independents and moderates takes a base for granted that isn't going to vote for him.
I would vote for a real Republican. Unfortunately, McKenna is a fake democrat... and why vote for a fake when the real thing is available?
