Further, Marc Boldt is my brother in law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house.)
Imagine my surprise when I was reviewing Marc Boldt's expenditure list, only to find this:
Unfortunately for Marc, he can't declare an expense at the end of July that took place in May. His failure to declare it, meaning that he is reimbursing himself for that expense, could only take place with the June C4.
5. File monthly contribution and C-4 reports (if contributions or expenditures exceeded $200 since last C-4 report filed). Submit reports to PDC. 1
On the 10th of the month to cover preceding month (or period since last C-4 was filed). Not required in months when one of the special C-4 reports listed below is filed.
In short, Boldt could have filed for reimbursement for the filing fee on his 10 June C-4. Failing to declare it for that C-4 precludes it for any other.
Thus, this is an illegal expenditure. Further, Marc has failed to properly fill out several entries for his donations. Donations above $100 require not only the names of contributors and their addresses, but their occupations and employers. Several are blank of those donations are not properly filled out. These kinds of things are simple. Marc's been doing this since 1994. So, why is he blowing this off?
