As expected, the Democratian continues their series of campaign pieces for Boldt and other democrats.

(FULL DISCLOSURE: NO candidate or campaign or anyone involved or in any way concerned with any candidate or campaign was aware of or approved or had input into this post.

Further, Marc Boldt is my brother in law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house.)

Look, we knew the rag writes like Comrade Pelz pays them; pro democrat garbage like this isn't too terribly surprising:

Madore, Boldt contest

The decision by the executive board of the Clark County Republican Party to discipline Commissioner Boldt cleared the way for wealthy party donor Madore to run for Boldt's District 2 seat.
Since Boldt was voting like Steve Stuart and the downtown mafia owned him, and that he had twice endorsed Stuart over Republicans, including Mielke, that decision was the right one.
The two Republicans will face off countywide in the Nov. 6 general election. Democrat Roman Battan finished third in the primary, and Pat Campbell, who ran as an independent, finished fourth. In Tuesday's primary, the vote was limited only to those in District 2.
The GOP executive board's decision to discipline Boldt -- which included cutting off donations and his access to the party's mailing list -- has been upsetting for some members of the party.
Two executive board members, Nelson Holmberg and Troy Van Dinter, quit over the decision. Former party chairman Brent Boger cited the treatment of Boldt as one reason he was done with being a party leader. Boger, a Vancouver assistant city attorney, was appointed in July to the Washougal City Council.
And how many mare times are we going to read this irrelevant crap in this paper?

These three supported Boldt.  What better way to get Boldt earned media then to act like they needed to throw a hissy fit and leave because the party majority disagreed with them?

And except for the democrat newsletter's efforts to paint Boldt as victim, what difference does any of this make?

What about Boldt's lies on his mailer?  What about his vote to confiscate our weapons in a commissioner-declared emergency like the 2nd Amendment didn't exist?  What about his violation of ethics laws when he made sure he used county money to get his wife paid?  Why isn't the rag talking about any of that?
Boger said he didn't think the executive board members really understood that Boldt has obligations outside of the Republican Party.
Boger is a moron.

"Obligations outside the Republican Party" don't include voting democrat every chance you get.

"Obligations outside the Republican Party" does not include repeatedly endorsing democrats to keep from getting your alleged "friend," Tom Mielke, elected to the commission.

It's fairly clear that BOGER didn't understand THAT.
So while some Republicans remain loyal to Boldt, what will Democrats do when their choices are limited to two Republicans?
Those who vote will vote for Boldt unless Madore can educate them as to what a lying, corrupt weasel he's turned into.

And even then, since his corruption extends to voting democrat like THEY elected him, democrats will STILL vote for Boldt because, among other reasons, the rag is going to print this garbage... repeatedly... since Boldt will not be able to effectively campaign for himself.
Will they vote for Boldt, who has established himself as a moderate and who got in trouble with party leaders for working with Commissioner Steve Stuart, a Democrat? Will they vote for Boldt just as a vote against Madore, best known as a critic of the Columbia River Crossing?
Interesting, this.  When Boldt votes democrat the vast majority of the time, instead of just calling him a democrat, they call him a "moderate."

Gotta wonder what they'd call Stuart if he voted Republican most of the time.

And why the rag continues to lie about the circumstances surrounding Boldt's expulsion is no mystery: lying and covering up for their "friends" is what makes them so despicable and such a cancer on our local society.
Democrat Betty Sue Morris, who served three terms as a county commissioner before deciding not to seek re-election in 2008, has been actively encouraging Democrats to support Boldt.
Of course she has.  Boldt is another democrat who lacks the guts to switch parties.  Instead, he lies about his affiliation, lies about his positions, lies about what he does and has done... so NATURALLY Morris is going to support him.

And the rag publicizing this fact is a genuine campaign piece that they're doing for Boldt as if he had paid them.

Yet another reason they're scum, bereft of any objectivity.
"I am certain (Democrats) will not vote for David Madore," she said. She said Democrats will see Madore as a single-issue candidate who won't compromise.
Then, like Morris, they'd be lying.

It's almost like Boldt didn't raise taxes or do anything to break us out of double-digit unemployment or rein in the cost of permits or any of the other things he COULD have done to get people back to work around here.

Why does Morris have to lie about that?  And instead of just letting Morris shoot off her mouth about it, why didn't this roll of used toilet paper ask Madore for comment?

Democrats want to hammer our local community and destroy small business with their toll program.  They want to jam loot rail down our throats without asking.... just like Betty Sue.  Just like Boldt.

Of COURSE they're going to support Boldt.
Over the years, Morris said, Boldt has shown himself willing to work out compromises.
Here, let me help you with that, BS:

Over the years, Boldt has shown himself willing to turn his back on principles, on the truth, on allowing the people to have a say, on honesty and honor.  He's shown himself willing to vote democrat 95% of the time.

In short, he's become a democrat in everything but name.
Some Democrats may still think of Boldt from his five terms as a 17th District state representative, when he was on the far right among state lawmakers.
Like back in the days when this very same rag wearing out knee pads in front of him now demanded his resignation?

Like that, you mean?
"I know in some respects, that's a problem," Morris said.
Only for Boldt.  But not for the rest of us who know him.
But, she said, "Most of the voters are not on the far left or the far right. There's that huge majority in the middle, and those are the people who vote more for the man than for the party."
Really?  if that's so true, then why does this despicable rag keep reminding everyone that the GOP kicked Boldt's democrat ass out?
Democrats who don't just skip over the race because there's no "D" on the ballot may just vote for what they see as the lesser of two evils, Morris said.
Well, that's a problem, since that means they'll vote Madore.  But BS's problem is this:

Not even democrats want this turd of a CRC built.  And that's where Madore comes in.

And it's also of note that, of course, the disgrace of a local rag for the democrats didn't ask a single Republican what THEY thought about all this garbage they're spewing.

I mean, what about balance?

Silly me.  We ARE talking about the Columbian here.... right?

Scum.
