Even leftest hack David Axelrod saw the danger in such a remark, indicating “Also Disappointed in Hilary Rosen’s comments about Ann Romney. They were inappropriate and offensive.”
Never mind that many Moms on welfare have ALSO "never worked a day in their life," one may easily ad the adjective "stupid" to inappropriate and offensive... the kind of thing that would make any political professional cringe, as Axlerod and Obama's own campaign manager cringed, Jim Messina saying: "I could not disagree with Hilary Rosen any more strongly. Her comments were wrong and family should be off limits. She should apologize."
I refer to that as the opening round fired in the War On Moms by the democrats because I figured that the Empty Suit in Chief wouldn't recognize the dangerous waters he's been shoved into... and sure enough, he didn't disappoint:.
Obama on Why Michelle Was a Working Mom (at $316K Per Year): ‘We Didn't Have the Luxury for Her Not to Work’
(CNSNews.com) - Speaking Friday at what the administration called “The White House Forum on Women and the Economy,” President Barack Obama said that after his two daughters were born, he and his wife—both Harvard Law School graduates—could not afford the “luxury” of having her stay home with the children.
More:In 2005, when Obama began serving in the U.S. Senate (and his daughters turned 4 and 7), he and his wife were earning a combined annual income of $479,062. Barack Obama was paid a salary of $162,100 by the U.S. taxpayers, and Michelle Obama was paid $316,962 to handle community affairs for the University of Chicago Medical Center.
This is the kind of out-of-touch garbage that Obama is TRYING to define Romney with... and now, as I pointed out, the fringe-left has handed Ronmey and the GOP a GOLDEN opportunity to blow this "War on women" crap up in Obama's face.
Will they use it?
Not... likely.
Campaign-wise, we're really rarely cursed with the sharpest knives in the drawer. And I have yet to see much of anything different this cycle.
