So, a ticket just to get in to the Clark County Fair was $10, right?
According to the newspaper, 251,892 actually got sucked into going.
So, how come we didn't have a take of $2.51 million?
In reality, the average fair goer paid just under $3.15 to be given their opportunity to waste money.
I don't go to the fair. Haven't since they brought booze on board.... just like I try to avoid the NFL because of their Limbaugh bigotry.
But all of that begs the greater question: why is it that the privileged few appear to be able to get in to this thing for free whenever they like while the others, the second class citizens the ballpark scammers want to extort, have to pay the full cost?
For attendance alone, 251,000 through the gate should equal a lot more money than $793,000.... a lot more.
This should be fixed... and now.
