Hitler used to think this way: Top Obama adviser says unemployment won't be key in 2012

.
No... I'm not comparing Obama with the indecency of Hitler.  He's a long way from that.

But as I studied the history surrounding Hitler's long overdue demise, I was struk by how truly delusional he was, particularly towards the end.

He moved non-existent armies around on maps; had non-existent units ordered to ride to the rescue... all the while refusing to accept the practical, political and military realities that his end was near until, literally, the Russians were knocking on the Fuhrer Bunker doors.

In that way, Obama and his minions are remarkably similar.

Obama keeps talking about a non-existent recovery as if unemployment and debt were not eroding the very foundations of this Nation for generations to come.  He, too, has no concept of reality, ignoring the people as much as, say, Tim "The Liar" Leavitt or Steve Stuart.

Besides the Empty Suit himself, this is yet another example of the complete lack of reality within the Administration and those who defy reality infesting it.  What Obama needs, and appears to lack, is someone to look at him and say, "You know, Mr. President... that's a really stupid idea."

Diplomatically, of course.

But like Hitler, Obama appears to have surrounded himself with a group of Keystone Cop yes-men and women... people incapable of telling him the equivalent of... "that's a really stupid idea."

This guy is completely off his rocker.  He's going to see the catch-phrase made famous by Bill Clinton everywhere he goes:

"It's the economy, stupid."

President Obama’s senior political adviser David Plouffe said Wednesday that people won’t vote in 2012 based on the unemployment rate.

Plouffe should probably hope that’s the case, since dismal job figures aren’t expected to get any better for Obama and the economy on Friday.
Most economists expect a report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to show that the nation added about 100,000 jobs in June. That’s not enough to keep up with population growth, let alone lower the unemployment rate or make a dent in the 9 million jobs lost during the so called Great Recession.
[UPDATED: The jobs report released on Friday showed the economy added only 18,000 jobs, much less than anticipated. The unemployment rate creeped up to 9.2 percent.]

It’s looking more and more like Obama will have to do something no president has done since Franklin Roosevelt: Win reelection with unemployment around 8 percent.

Ronald Reagan, another president Obama is sometimes compared with, was reelected in 1984 when unemployment was 7.2 percent. Obama isn’t likely to see a number that low.

Mark Zandi, chief economist for Moody’s Analytics, predicts the nation will have added 110,000 jobs in total in June, with 125,000 added in the private sector. Hiring by the public sector will continue to fall.

The economy would have to add 350,000 jobs every month between now and December 2014 to get back to the pre-recession low of 5 percent unemployment, last seen in December 2007, according to the Economic Policy Institute (EPI).

I haven't been all that high on Obama losing in 2012.  The GOP hasn't been all that competent in either the selection of candidates nor campaigns for elective office in many areas for quite some time, now.

However, there is a political axiom which has stood the test of time that applies here:
"When your political opponent is bound and determined to commit political suicide, you have a duty to stand by and let him do it."
It's beginning to look like Obama has been bitten by the political suicide bug.

This high level of delusion he evidences, shared by those closest to him, would be hilarity if it were a sitcom.  Unfortunately, it's our country this moron is screwing around with, and that makes it not funny.

At all.
