The Weiner situation is a time for political reflection.
The GOP sees this as the gift that keeps on giving.
The democrats see it as a "distraction."
It's a study in contrasts between a party that tries to hold it's members to a standard of conduct, and a party that simply doesn't care.
The left's new SuperHero: Weinerman.
The hypocrisy for democrats is obvious. Their clarion clamor for resignations of the members of the GOP who get stupid are legend.
When one of their own sticks their crank in the fan, well, it's a "distraction," not worthy of holding Weiner accountable by forcing his resignation.
The president should know better. But his complete incompetence in all phases of the presidency continues to shine through.
His failure to act decisively in this matter is just another in the mountainous pile of his failures.
Can't fix Libya, but there's always time to play golf... and what a party of hypocrites they are over THAT fetish? Remember their whining about Bush playing golf post 9/11? Not a peep out of those same slime when it comes to Barry's golf, or his Neroian parties every Wednesday, or his failures to address Syria (Where the slaughter continues unabated) or Iran (where they likely will have nukes thanks to the Empty Suit) or his weakening of the military by getting flamers on active duty.
No, that he and so many others on the left have no moral compass is not surprising. But that he, once again, has blown the obvious call? That's disheartening.

Morals are a religious issue, meaning they are not the same for everyone - and shouldn't be. I personally think Weiner is a wiener but I think that about a lot of politicians.
Republicans resign on moral issues because they prove hypocrisy - which is a character issue.
