Odd, that the local rag doesn't seem to have any mirrors... or introspection.

Calling some other business "an embarrassment" in the face of the much more embarrassing, much more cancerous and a much larger blight on our community known as the newspaper...

Well... hypocrisy doesn't seem to cover it.

The Value Motel is a problem. But it's a problem confined to a very small area.

Compared to the despicable rag passing as a paper in this community, it's a zit on a problem's butt... but unfortunately, the rag is all we've got that passes for a local daily on this side of the river... more's the pity.

My guess is that few stay there because they want to. So, just like the rag typically does, they condemn someone else without giving them equal time or any realistic opportunity to defend themselves.

Meanwhile, the rag CONTINUES to sit on the fact that their replacement bridge/loot rail issue does not require loot rail at all, except in the minds of the consummate liars who've been running that swindle sheet for so long.

So, before the rag goes around condemning others, they need to clean up their own horse poop. They can start by offering some alternatives for those reduced to living there. In their typical, institutional short-sightedness, they seemed to leave that out.

And that ain't happening any time real soon.
