Will the GOP blow it again? Earmarks a plenty, $801 billion added to the deficit... and the GOP supports it.

.
Will the GOP get stupid again? Will they allow earmarks when earmarks are anathema and many of these clowns promised not to go along?

The GOP was the only real alternative last November. But I don't have a lot of faith in the people who were mostly there the last time the GOP had control over the House... and what happened then?

Those whining that this has to be done by the end of the year are full of it. The GOP can do NOTHING, and then change it all, retroactively, the day they take control.

The problems with mistaking unemployment for welfare goes back to Lawrence Summers, ED of the National Economic Council:

"The more you extend unemployment, the longer unemployment lasts."

I believe that the GOP has screwed this up even worse than most believe Barry has.

The GOP can extend the taxcuts WITHOUT the democrats by forcing the issue on January 5th.

Because the GOP went back to the "bad ol' days" by rewinding their "we-really-screwed-up-spending" clock. WE ARE GETTING HOSED.

Changing the name of earmarks to "extensions" or some such garbage, doesn't change the basic thievery behind the corrupt way this is all coming down.

Then inept handling of all of this gives me no hope that the GOP will do a better job.

You'll note that I haven't been tap-dancing about the apparent death of DADT or the Drub US (Aka "Dream") Act.

It's because we have a history of caving to the RINOs... and the left counts on that. Either or both could come back and pass at a moment's notice. And while disappointing, neither would be surprising.

Sigh.

When we continue electing RINO's, as with Herrera, what else can we expect?

GOP get dumb? When have they ever been smart in recent years?

And, the Ron Paulies think they can correct it when their cult leader adds more earmarks than other GOP member?

Where's the popcorn?

Unfortunately, this movie has a terrible script with a likely outcome we've seen far too many times before.
