Democrats close to losing State Senate: thanks to union thugs and Moxie Media.

.
In a classic case of cutting off their nose to spite their faces, the fringe-left element of the state democrats may have done their wortk TOO well...

The fringe left nutters stupidly attacked any in the caucus to the right of Mao. Indepednent expenditures even up to election day to get rid of those who wouldn't toe their socialist line.

So, instead of working within the framework of controlling the Senate, these political idiots worked as if the GOP were paying them.

That's right... they used union and democrat money to achieve the same goals the GOP wanted: defeat for democrats.

Apparently noty understanding that the work they were doing, coming in on the tail end of a wave of some sort might just cost them one or both houses in Olympia, they just proceeded to sledgehammer away as if they were getting a WSRP check for Luke Esser every week.

The result?

Election Results Put GOP Control of Senate Within Reach – Labor, 'Progressive' Campaign Against Democratic Moderates May Have Done the Trick

Four Senate Incumbents Go Down, Three Races Are Too Close to Call and Everett Race is Question Mark – Linville Defeated in House

OLYMPIA, Nov. 2.—An absolutely stunning election-night result in this year’s state Senate races stands a chance of handing control to the GOP and turning a powerless minority into a force to be reckoned with. A gain of seven seats now appears to be in reach, giving Republicans the majority, a prospect most observers discounted early in the election cycle.

And in the strangest twist of all, it appears that a coalition of labor, trial-lawyer and activist organizations may be the ones that put the Republicans over the top. An enormous independent-expenditure campaign that aimed to teach a pair of moderate Senate Democrats a lesson has thrown those races into doubt.

GOP control of the Senate would mean a tremendous change in the dynamic of the state Legislature. The success of Initiative 1053 Tuesday night already gave them the ability to block tax increases. But if the party can pull it off in the Senate, that means the Republicans will have a say in the writing of the state budget for the first time in years.

Four Democratic incumbents are gone for sure, and three races were so close that there’s no telling which way they will go. Everything is going to have to go the Republicans’ way as the final ballots are counted, however, and the suspense will be great as the final ballots trickle in over the coming week. About 50 percent of the by-mail ballots in this state are typically mailed in the final two days, and are not received by county auditors’ offices in time to make the initial ballot count on election night.

Meanwhile, one prominent Democrat was knocked out in the House – House Ways and Means Chairwoman Kelli Linville of Bellingham. Others went down as well, and Democrats scored no gains. But the shift wasn’t enough to change control of that chamber, which remains in Democratic hands.

More:

Moxie Media was a major player in all this... the same Moxie Media that's having some difficulty with the State AG and who was so instrumental in getting rid of democrat state senator Jean Berkey (D-31) no matter how illegally they did it. The dems are making a bunch of Porsche payments to a group that did SO much... to likely cost them control of at least the Senate.

And here I thought only the GOP were morons when it came to eating their young.
.

WELL DONE!
