Looks like "The Liar" Leavitt is feeling the heat already.

.
One of the most noticeable lapses of journalism from the local cancer on our society is an almost genetic inability to seek out and print the views of those opposed to the rag's agenda. Now, of course, with the emergence of notolls.com, there should be no excuse for failing to include opposing viewpoints.

But I know they rarely, if ever, will. Because they simply cannot allow the facts to interfere with their conclusions or agenda.

The rag has been excusing their lack of presenting opposing view points to an almost pathetic inability to find any. Of course, they don't need to go any further then this blog, but hey, I'm just a small fry and no one listens to me.... right?

Madore, on the other hand.... not so much. He's big enough that they HAVE to listen to him... and there are already signs that the mafia fears him.

Up until now, the slimeballs running this county have not been held accountable for their actions. Up until now, efforts to hold them accountable have been swept aside by the corrupt special interests, including a despicable daily paper who long since lost any pretense of fairness.

Now, all of a sudden... now, it's quite different. And the political targets are beginning to notice.

Yesterday's expose' on Madore was strangely muted. Unlike the hysteria, bias, lies and exaggerations the rag frequently visits upon their political targets, this story was definitely understated.

The undertone, of course, was to "out" those who received funding from Madore. Of course, doing so is no more relevant then "outing" those who received support from unions, or Neirenberg, for example... but oddly, the rag hasn't done that.

Why?

Well, we pretty much know why.

That, of course, brings us to this issue and it's impacts: the political arrival of a new player: David Madore.

The soon-to-become-politically-irrelevant mayor of Vancouver gets it. Reeking from his own lying hypocrisy, Tim "The Liar" Leavitt spewed this:

“In no way are his efforts healthy for our community,” said Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt, who has drawn much heat from Madore for his change of stance from last year, when he campaigned on a “tolls-as-a-last-resort” platform, to supporting a bridge with tolls. “It’s unfortunate that he’s funneling so much of his own personal money and profits he’s made from his company into delivering messages that are inaccurate and replete with rhetoric.”
Leavitt, of course, is best known as a democrat who ran against another democrat for mayor, all the while lying about his opposition to tolls. Now, of course, Leavitt is hyper-sensitive to those who may hold him accountable for his actions.

In short, The Liar shared many of Madore's positions while it was politically useful. But once elected, he immediately flipped (as I repeatedly warned those gullible enough to support him because of his faux political position on the bridge) and showed his true colors as a bridger/looter/toller slimeball.

His abysmal handling of "Gavel Down" Harris, who acts like she keeps Leavitt's testicular fortitude in a jar in her office, his lying about his position on tolls, and now his attack on the biggest threat to his political future is clear, with his panic at the thought that is political career is facing imminent demise.

Imagine the future of Identity Vancouver if they have to face a government that owes them nothing... and doesn't have to listen to them because the truth about their scams gets out... and the people vote accordingly.

You feel it, yet, Timmy? You feel that heat for being an arrogant liar?

Tell you what, Liar. Keep smacking Madore for exercising his right to take you on. Keep it up.

See what that gets you.
