Always an amazing photograph to see. I watched a documentary yesterday called "102 Minutes That Changed America" and was again held spellbound as I was that day. For myself, beyond the shock of watching the two towers burning, it was the horror of watching terrified people who were making a choice of whether they wanted to burn to death or die by jumping out a window. What a terrible choice to have to make. Those people were like any of us. They got up, had breakfast, kissed their families goodbye and went to work...little did they realize the monumental decisions that would be facing them that day. These people didn't ask for this, they didn't even expect it...they just simply had the misfortune of working for companies who had offices in a tower that was a symbol of evil for those who have no ability to be reasoned with.

Unreasonable people do unreasonable things and that is what scares us as a society. The ability to reason is not a visible thing, we can't walk down the street and judge who is safe and who is not. It affects us to our core. All we know is that we don't want to be the person on the top floor of the World Trade Center jumping out the window because that is our best option.
