No lie the Columbian or bridge/loot rail supporters won't tell to get their crap pile built.

.
There's a certain commonality to the vast majority of bridge/loot rail supporters.

First and foremost, they all, each and every one of them, lie.

They lie about needing to replace the I-5 Bridge. They lie about light rail. They lie about tolls. They lie about "studies." They lie about bridge safety. They lie about how this massive waste of billions will positively impact congestion. They lie about freight mobility.

And some of them, like Tim "The Liar" Leavitt, lie about it so well it gets them elected to office.

Second, and most importantly; few, if any of them, will have to pay the tolls every working day that they want us to pay. And how incredibly easy is it for the scum who won't have to pay for this to demand that those of us who will must do so, even without asking us.

That's why, when our local disgrace of a paper comes out with another lying, one-sided, steaming pile of propaganda like this, well, I just have to step up and challenge the scum who, once again, are attempting to shove this turd down our throats.

One need get no farther then the lie of a headline:

Kulongoski shores up support for new I-5 bridge

to know this is yet another45 in the series of lying, completely biased and exaggerated puff pieces our waste of wood pulp is pounding out in support of it's agenda and in opposition to the will of the people this stain on the cover of journalism is SUPPOSED to serve.

Kulongoski (Aka Taxandgougeme) doesn't have the throw weight of seagull poop over here.

That this despicable rag even remotely thinks that this guy coming over here and babbling about a bridge that he will rarely use and certainly will have to pay next to nothing for is going to make any difference or convince anyone of anything besides the fact that this clown has a monumental ego just goes to show how utterly clueless, moronic and out of touch this waste of space paper actually is.

In short, no one cares.

GOD could come down here and tell us this bridge is what we need to replace and THAT wouldn't make it so. Having a clown who doesn't live here come up here and tell us what WE need to do makes as much sense as believing the Columbian isn't a fringe-left publication run by the DNC.

In fact, Kulongoski's babble will hurt this effort as much as the Portland Business Association's endorsement clobbered Pollard... who should have told them "Don't do me any favors."

In 2010, this bridge/loot rail project is going to be hung around the neck of every idiot moronic enough to support it. And Teddy coming here, and no amount of bullshit from our local despicable rag is going to change that one iota.
