...Rep. Jim McIntire (D-Seattle (Gee.... THERE'S a surprise!)) was quoted as saying the following:
"This is a simple, straightforward amendment allowing the majority to govern."
I'm confused, Representative. When the majority passed I-601, weren't THEY governing? HHHmmmm..... my bad.
It IS refreshing, however, to find a neo-communist democrat from Seattle who would support ending the filibuster in the US Senate on President Bush's judicial nominations. After all, the "majority must govern," right, Rep. McIntire?
Or is that somehow "different," like it is most of the time on matters of integrity and hypocrisy on the part of the democrats?
