I popped open the local fishwrapper on the net today (I wouldn’t be caught dead buying it) and checked out the Letters to the Editor section.
In that section, there were 3 letters condemning Sen. Don Benton. Nothing new in that, you understand, given that The Columbian prints anything condemning him.
What struck me, however, was the total irony of these letters all being printed together at the same time.
Letter One:
Benton didn’t listen to his constituents (when he was smart enough to vote against the Clark County socialist PUD Appliance Service Bill).
Letter Two:
Benton is scamming us and covering his absences by complaining that a WEA lackey killed his Teacher-on campus Pornography Bill. (Which was amended on to another bill)
Letter Three:
We’re better off when Benton isn’t in Olympia. (Everybody wants it all ways, eh?)
