The man has lied about so much, for so long, that if the truth bit him in the ass he wouldn't know what it was.

"Governance" is not the fringe-left determination this wart on a pig's butt utilizes as his model.

"Governance" does not include the rank hypocrisy and arrogance of a Laird, a Moeller, a "Liar" Leave-it, a slimy Cleveland.

Governance DOES mean being responsive to the people who elected you.  It DOES mean keeping your promises.  It DOES mean doing what you consider to be the right thing if you have the right reasons on your side... which explains precisely why the CRC supporters are the scum of the political earth, since their motivations are based on lies, exclusion and disregard for the people THEY would govern.

One of the problems with the scuzball column is the fact of the matter: the only thing this lying putz has ever "governed" has been his keyboard.

He babbles like he knows what he's talking about... yet he's never been in a position to actually do that with which he babbles about.

Scott has made the same kind of mistake that Leave-it made, and it's a mistake that, also like Leave-it, will result in a single term in office:

You can't lie to the people and expect them to continue to support you.

The democratian's hatred of Madore is well established and well known.  As a rule, it's best to simply ignore scum like Laird who frankly, aren't fit to carry a true conservative's luggage, particularly when they discuss those they hate, since their efforts wi9ll be reeking with bias and quite situational in their hypocrisy... much like dillwad Laird was with this column.

Those of us who support a candidate based on that candidate's promises have every right to hold them accountable for those promises.  The Pit Yorkie's efforts to excuse the lies, dishonesty, attacks and scummy-ness of Tiom "The Liar" leave-it are so transparent and obvious that it's all I can do not to blow chunks all over my keyboard as I read them.

And make no mistake about it: that's exactly what this is: another in the series of image rehabilitation efforts by the democratian for that lying asshole of a mayor.

Second, and more importantly, when campaigning candidates serenade us with anti-this and anti-that rhapsodies, let's hold off on the swooning and the standing ovations until we see how they perform after taking office.

Unlike the scumbag mayor, David Madore has been in office less than 3 months.  To date, while the learning curve has been steep, he's been an honorable man, trying to do the best he can, unlike you and the scum you're campaigning for with tripe like your spew today.

We've had plenty of time to discern what a lying scumbag both you and your boy The Liar are.  But you would make it clear, as you did so many times even before he was elected, that YOU had already made up your mind about Madere before he ever set foot into the office.

This blogger knew he was lying and warned everyone for months that he was engaging in the politics of Laird.  Now, he's fully corrupted and in the pockets of the scum doing their best to get this crap-pile rammed down our throats.

That John Laird would lie so blatantly, in just one of the many efforts this despicable rag will engage in to get Leave-it re-elected, speaks to just one of the many reasons why this community would be much better off if we had no newspaper at all.  Unfortunately, what we DO have is a lying, despicable waste of wood pulp foisted off on us as "news" when it's main purposes is to ignore the facts they hate while shilling for those meaning to enrich themselves while doing us harm.

It's tough when two of the 15 legislators representing Clark County are scum, but they are, and we just have to live with it.

Right now, we have 5 senators, including Sen. Curtis King (R-14) representing all or part of Clark County.

As Transportation Committee co-chair, Sen. King is personally going to kill the CRC scam for us by vetoing any attempt to fund it this year, but that's neither here nor there.

The self-delusional twits of Cleveland and Moeller are unable to grasp the fact that within the month, their scam will be over.... the massive rip off they support, done.

Of the 5 senators in question, all of them, save that moron Cleveland, a democrat/union butt-girl, oppose this theft and extortion.

This article by the democratian is rife with lies, exaggerations and delusions.

There is no "Plan B."  Sen. King will also kill Cleveland's moronic effort to bury us in taxes and fees as yet another empty threat on the part of the left to try and scare the people of this county into freaking out and whining to our senators to vote for this shit heap.

 "My No. 1 priority is finding $450 million to keep this project on track," Moeller said.

When he fails, will he resign?  Will he hang himself?

And this garbage:

 "It does seem to be a partisan issue," Cleveland said of the CRC, "but it shouldn't be that way."

That simple idiot is right... just not in the way she believes: EVERYONE, REGARDLESS of party should vote against this turd.  But instead, it's limited to those who actually hear the voice of the people; those who actually give a damn what we say; those who aren't arrogant enough to see their vision as superior to our own.

And that leabves out the leftist scum like Cleveland and Moeller.

 And then this delusional crap from Moeller:

Moeller and other CRC supporters hope they've found their path forward in a broad revenue package introduced in February. If approved, the transportation plan would serve as the vehicle for putting up the state's share of money for the CRC. And they're hoping legislators, some Republicans included, could be enticed to support a package that includes new money for projects in the lawmakers' own backyards.

Well, see, here's the thing: the ONLY way they're going to get "the goodies" is to vote against funding the CRC scam.  Otherwise, first, there's no money for other projects and second, they'll be outvoted and wind up with nothing

And then this garbage:

Moeller has said some "political horse-trading" might be necessary to move a package forward this session. Withholding specifics, he and Cleveland both said they will be talking with key Republicans who might see a benefit to their own districts.

What this scumbag doesn't understand is that he ain't got enough horses TO trade.

"It's pretty clear that the (Senate) Republicans are running the show over there, and they're not used to governing," Moeller said. "I think their understanding of what is going to be involved in a revenue package is new. Educating them is going to be essential about what the project is and what it means to Southwest Washington and to the entire corridor."

As a lying scumbag, identified as such for years, no one is going to listen to this asshole blather: the more he talks, the more the GOP caucus locks up.


Here's the thing, see: there isn't going to be a package, there isn't going to be a fee or gas tax increase, they're not going to shove 695 into the shitter, and these clowns aren't getting any of this.

Why these two lying scum keep babbling about a Plan that's going nowhere is just another lying, CRC scamming load of crap.

It's so dead, it's been embalmed.  These two scum are either lying outright, or utterly delusional.

As for Tracy Eide, that slimeball doesn't live here.  Lying through her tooth about the condition of the bridge does nothing to help her union buddies out.

Cleveland and Moeller also have introduced companion legislation that would serve as a "Plan B" if a transportation package fails this year and if the transportation budget doesn't include money for the CRC. That proposal, which even sponsors say is not ideal, would place an even heavier burden on Clark County commuters to pay for the project.

The legislation would let the state borrow $450 million for the CRC project, repaid through tolling and fuel-tax revenue. CRC plans already assume up to $1.3 billion in toll revenue will go to construction. The backup bill would make the CRC even more reliant on tolls.

"We did want to ensure that we had a fall-back plan," Cleveland said.

If the proposal passes, Cleveland said, more research would be needed to figure out how much of that $450 million would be paid back with tolls, and how much with fuel tax revenue. The Senate bill is signed by 17 other Democrats, and the House bill is co-sponsored by another CRC supporter, Rep. Sharon Wylie, D-Vancouver.

Why Cleveland insists on lying (there is no back up plan: this is as dead as the original plan) musty be based on her leftists positions.

There's no fall-back; there will be no borrowing, and there will be no "Plan B.

And those two simple idiots already know that.

And Moeller's idiocy : that we have to pass this program without knowing the details?

But his effort to play Nanci Pelosi are going no where:

After years of public debate about the CRC, Moeller said, the differences people have about the details of the bridge must take a back seat. Now is the time to build the project that's before us instead of considering a redesign, he said.

"What (CRC critics are) talking about is basically a delay of another generation before any bridge will be built," Moeller said. "That's unacceptable to me, because we need a new bridge. … Oregon has stepped up to the plate with its share. The federal government is there with its part. We need to step up."

 And a delay of "another generation" (or two, or three) would be just fine.

And that's the thing, you see: he doesn't care that we don't want this rip off.  He doesn't give a damn for what the people want.  He just gives a rat's ass about what HE wants, and SCREW us.

Well, guess what, Moeller: Screw YOU.

I can forgive stupid.  "Stupid" can't be helped (The Pit Yorkie immediately comes to mind) but the bizarre idea that even a fully functional loot rail scam would have had ANY impact on the traffic train-wreck caused by a semi-truck crash the other day... well, that's a flat out lie.

The light-rail passion

What a traffic mess this week, eh?

More than a few folks characterized it as the worst they have ever seen. It began with an accident on the I-205 bridge Monday and proceeded to cascade to just about all things Vancouver, including the I-5 bridge.

So we put up our weekly unscientific Web poll on the mess. Essentially, the poll asked whether a new bridge and accompanying light rail would have helped lessen the traffic mess.

And I was just a little surprised by the results. More than 55 percent of those responding said they didn't think the new bridge and light rail would have helped.

Huh?

Now, I get that there are folks out there who believe light rail is the devil incarnate. I get that in some cultures you'd rather give up your first-born male child than acknowledge the subway within us all.

But to say that light rail would not have helped alleviate a massive traffic problem is simply nonsensical. That is what light rail does.

It might not be worth the cost. It might flood Vancouver streets with Portland zombies. There may be a better solution. But it would help traffic congestion. Come on, now!

This delusion that our local editorial spastic clings to, that loot rail would solve every traffic problem known to man is just that: retarded.

Wasting billions on an unneeded, unwanted and unaffordable post card picture for the scum of the downtown mafia might do a lot of things besides bankrupt us here in Clark County, but it would have MADE NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER AS A RESULT OF THE SEMI WRECK.

One of the many problems the democratian has is Brancaccio is a flat out liar.  And like our president, trust is the only thing he has to offer.

What makes that problematic is that, like our president, he has shown himself to be an arrogant ass of a liar, who will lie at the drop of a hat if he thinks it will aid his agenda, will of the people be damned.

And in this instance, the blithering idiot running the rag assures us that if we had just gone into debt for a mere $10 billion or so on his light rail project, everything would have been just peachy.

He doesn't explain how that would work, of course.

He doesn't show how using every loot rail train in Portland would have begun to move the volume of traffic typically moved by the 205.

He doesn't even start to look at where everyone would have parked to get on that massive theft of our hard-earned, easily wasted by scum like Brancaccio choo choo.

All he does is, once again, call us stupid, stomp his widdle footsie, and scream:

When Lou dies, his brain should be studied... he should get his own specimen refrigerator at, say, the UW Medical Center so researchers can begin to figure out how Brancaccio's stupid developed and why it was obviously catching... and how it got spread as thoroughly as it obviously has among those practicing the political and financial incest of the downtown mafia.

And, it's nice to know that in his warped opinion, Durbin was worth a few paragraphs, anyway.
