Marc Boldt was bound to lose.

He went out with a whimper.

The writing was on the wall from the moment the PDC hammered him by banning him from running his own campaign finance records.

But of course, the moment he was elected, he became everything he had been that got him thrown out of office in 2012.

For any tax increase.  For any government expansion.  For any fee increase.

And, of course, for the horror of the unneeded, unwanted and unaffordable loot rail project known as the CRC.

It became clear to me when, as council chair, he raised next to nothing in campaign donations.  Those who put him up to this insanity last time knew he stood no chance with a Republican actually ON the ballot as opposed to a write-in candidacy.

For THE head guy of Clark County government to raise only $17,725 was sad and pathetic.  He raised almost 3 times that much in 2015.

That sent a loud and clear message.

Even his RINO friends  who abandoned the GOP both this election and last... the 5 past GOP chairs and their sock puppet Carolyn Crain's fake Republican PAC couldn't even begin to make up for his tin-eared cluelessness.

Clearly, the reason he won last election was based on Jeannie Stewart splitting the conservative vote.  That was the Wilson's plan all along, implemented by their sockpuppet Steve Nelson... and those 3 are the ones most responsible for Hoff's disgraceful defeat in the primary... which was as foreseeable as sunrise.

As it turns out, Boldt was a tool.  A tool used by leftists to further their own aims... their own agenda.  Did he realize it?

Nope.

Leftists like Betty Sue Morris and Jimmy Mains kept Marc from seeing and understanding the truth.

Boldt had a name and a title of state representative.  The RINO clique's letter asked us to literally ignore Boldt's actual voting record as a commissioner and elect him for more of the same.

Former Republican chairs endorse Boldt for county chair
Sep 16, 2015
We former Chairs of the Clark County Republican Central Committee endorse Marc Boldt for Council Chair. Taken together, our leadership of the GOP in Clark County extends from the 1980s to the present decade. We are well acquainted with the character, experience, and track record of Marc Boldt. Our familiarity with Marc was first as a colleague working on campaigns, then as a candidate for office and popular State Representative, and then as county commissioner.
While we don’t individually endorse all of his votes during that very long period of his service, and some of them concern several of us, we value Marc’s character, collegial temperament, ability to listen as well as to lead, and maturity in addressing different points of view. Furthermore, his perspective as a farmer, truck driver, and small business leader is essential on our council.
We are concerned that the write-in campaign for another Republican will lead to the election of the inexperienced Democrat. We believe the Democratic candidate’s election will not lead to optimum economic growth in our county and we therefore believe Marc Boldt is the best choice for council chair. We ask voters of both parties and independents to select Marc Boldt for council chair.

Most of, if not all five of these people are CURRENT Republican PCO's.  Now, they will want all of the rest of us to work our asses off to get fellow RINOs like Hoff and Herrera elected.  They, no doubt, will appeal to party loyalty and all that.... you know, the same thing they ignore whenever THEY feel like it?

Those paying attention realize that Boldt was in WAY over his head, that he had no vision, no clue, no plan and no idea what the hell he was doing.

And when these political scum wrote: We are concerned that the write-in campaign for another Republican will lead to the election of the inexperienced Democrat.

What they REALLY meant was "We are concerned that the write-in campaign for another Republican will lead to the election of a conservative."

And they simply could not have that, given their hatred of conservatives.

How do I know that?

Simple: as of now, NONE of THESE 4 remaining political scum have endorsed Eileen Quiring for Council Chair.

Now.... why is that?

It's not like Eileen is a rookie.  It's not like she, too, hasn't been a state representative or a council member herself.  It's not like she isn't a Republican.  But it IS like she's a conservative.

The RINOs coalesced around Boldt in 2015.  This time, with a Republican on the ballot and a record of governance that leftists like Jim Moeller could envy, he never stood a chance.

And you can bet that Jimmy Mains never told him that.

What a sad, sorry end to a political career that began with such promise... such integrity and humility... and ended with such callousness and arrogance.

The abysmal outcomes in this primary election are due to many factors... from incompetent leadership of the party organization to arrogance and ineptitude on the part of the candidates... and incumbents... themselves.

Boldt has no one to blame but himself.
.

Thoughts on the primary.

In totality, it went about as expected.

It was likely to be Cantwell v. Hutchinson.

Hutchinson stands no chance.  It's Cantwell, as worthless as she is; but then, the leftists in this state would elect a brick if it were painted with a "D."

In congress here locally, it broke out the obvious way: the two establishment candidates made it through.

For her part, Herrera has been and remains worthless.  She has accomplished nothing of note; she trashed the President when he was a candidate and continues to trash him now, has no vision or plan to resolve the biggest problem confronting the people of the 3rd CD, has failed to get legislation passed to end Oregon's stupidity on tolling bridges already built and paid for and, of course, she voted to continue the abomination known as Obamacare.

Her admission in the Daily Democrat that she doesn't know how she'd vote when it comes to impeaching the President is likely to be her political death knell.

But then, Ridgefield Barbie has never been the brightest bulb on the tree.

Long, for her part, is a carpetbagger-leftist trying to sound like a progressive to attract the twisted Sanders vote.  A professor, we all know what they say: those who can, do.  Those who can't, teach.

I'd be stunned if Herrera didn't pull it out, but that can change as she keeps shooting herself in the political foot.  The reality is clear, however: they (Long and Herrera) are far too much alike and Herrera's biggest problem right now is convincing a GOP base who increasingly believes her to be a waste of skin that when the time comes to vote, they should vote for her.

She needs to become thoughtful and in a hurry.  Otherwise.... they won't.  And that's like asking her to fly by flapping her arms.

Herrera finds herself in an unusual position for her:  if she's going to win, she's finally going to have to work for it while hoping we actually forget her record.

I, for one, won't.

In the 18th District, Brandon Vick has found himself in a dog fight as a result of his idiotic decision to support the resurrection of the CRC/Loot Rail scam.  If he wants to win, he'd better repudiate Rivers' tax and spend ideology that led to our exploding property taxes and her betrayal on that selfsame CRC scam... and he'd better do it as soon as possible and loudly.  Further, he needs to dump the hapless Hoff, who has no more chance of winning than he does mastering the art of levitation.  Plastering his (Vick's) face on all those mailers shilling Hoff has to stop and they likely hurt Vick's vote total.

Though more votes are coming in, the last off-year election showed the GOP vote for Vick's House seat at around 15,700... at this point, Vick's vote total is 13000.  That means 2700 or more stayed home... or voted democrat.

Such a position, were Vick to announce it, would provide a reason for the base to do something they've not done in this primary: get out and vote.  As it is now, when Republicans vote like democrats on the issues most important to us, there's no reason to vote for them... which should become increasingly clear as GOP defeats mount.

Hoff has been doomed from the beginning.  Everyone knows he's the Establishment's puppet, hand-picked by the RINO Establishment from Wyman to Herrera on down.  He was chosen deliberately to block out any conservative candidate.

The problem for Hoff is, with apologies to General Patton, "he knows as much about politics as he does about fornication."

He's what's known in the parlance as a "stiff."  He has no original thoughts, he has no vision, he has no plan and no clue.  His "issues" page is worthless garbage... a few words set up to avoid any accountability for his actions.

His handlers stand him up like a Trump cardboard cutout while they do the talking for him.

That CAN work... if you're not surrounded by ignorant ego-maniacs who think they've actually got a clue... like the Wilson Brain Trust who are utterly incompetent, clueless and are largely responsible for this horrific outcome.

Much of Hoff's complete humiliation at the polls by a leftist in arguably the most conservative district in the region is a direct result of the advice he's been getting, combined with his own lack of political values and political cowardice.

This guy was in trouble the moment he chose to ignore me as a prospective constituent.  Not because it was me he was ignoring, but because his cowardice kept him from responding to my questions... which means his cowardice keeps him from responding to the questions of others as well.

He is a miserable political failure and because of his political ignorance and his decision to allow the RINO Establishment... despised by the base... to use him, he is heading for a deserved, ignominious defeat.

And it's far too late for him to do anything about it.

It is of note, for example, that a thousand voters went with Vick and then voted for Hoff's opponent, Gillespie.  Now... why do you suppose THAT is?

In the 17th, Vicki Kraft is in trouble.  The combined democrat vote exceeded her Republican vote count, never a good thing for an incumbent. Harris, for his part, is also one of the CRC scammers and he eked out a lead election night, but usually he is much further ahead.

One of the biggest problems the downtown mafia has is it looks like Marc Boldt is likely to lose.

The only reason he made it to the general election when he got the seat was because the RINOs jammed the ballot to split the vote... killing off any GOP candidate and keeping them off the ballot.  As a result of the write-in effort by Rep. Liz Pike, Boldt became county chair with a total of 39% of the vote.

That means 61% of the voting public did not want this clown in office.

61%

This time around, even with massive RINO support, Boldt has come in next to last at 22%... which is 22% more than he deserves.

Boldt has been a disaster, effectively raising every tax and fee that he can and, of course, coming out totally behind the resurrection of the CRC scam.  And many of the fake Republican RINOs back him... which helped to kill him off politically.

He set about to undo everything David Madore accomplished and he did it out of spite... not because it was the right thing to do, but because of revenge since Madore blew him out in 2012.

It is too early to lock him off the ballot, however: there are enough votes remaining countywide that he may pull off a comeback... but it doesn't look likely.

Clearly, these early numbers are a well-deserved, crushing defeat for this guy and we would be well rid of him.  It looks pretty good for Eileen Quiring but she's in for a tough fight, thanks to the RINOs who would vote for Stalin over a conservative.

The night he won the election in 2015, he began to text me, taunting the Liz Pike effort as if she... or I... were miserable failures because he defeated a write-in.  It got so bad; I had to have him blocked at the corporate level.

Now that he is, again, rightfully sinking into political ignominy, I squelched the urge to remind him of that and to taunt him in return, since the only reason he won was the successful RINO plan to block out conservatives and keep them all off the ballot.

But he surely deserves it.

Scott Weber, county clerk, was elected on a lie.  His election platform when he first ran was that he was going to do all he could to eliminate his job as an elected position.  That was a novel idea and approach.

The problem?

He made no serious effort to follow through, being far more concerned about keeping a title and the pay check that went with it than he was following his campaign pledge.

I will never support a liar.  Weber is a liar and as a result, I believe his challenger, Melton, will win going away.

For County Treasurer, in yet another sign of GOP incompetence, the idiots running the local party into the ground failed to field candidates for this position or either House position in the 49th.  Topper, as much as a leftist clown as she is, seems to be the one to win, thanks in part to local GOP incompetence.

When it comes to the two council races, it would appear that Temple Lentz is the likely winner.  Stewart's impending defeat is a rather sweet, poetic justice considering that slimeball Crain shilled for her... and also, come to think of it, was out there supporting Boldt in the primary over the REPUBLICAN running for council chair... which is typical of RINO PCO's.

It's always better to have a real democrat/leftist in office than the fake/RINO variety.  You know exactly what to expect and exactly what they'll do.  With RINOs?  Not so much.

In the PUD Commissioner race, Judy Chipman got spanked, which was the right outcome, considering she was only running because she was bored and didn't have anything else to do... she said.  Jim Malinowski has done a great job in the PUD and deserves reelection.

Politically in Clark County, this is a miserable... but expected, outcome.

Compared to the past several years, this is a terrible outcome for the local GOP.

Up until now, 12 of 15 legislative seats in Clark County, 4 of 5 county council seats and the majority of county offices have been held by candidates at least claiming GOP allegiance.

There is a very real possibility that, thanks in large part to the incompetence of local GOP leadership and the RINO philosophies of many of the candidates, 4 of those 12 legislative seats are at risk, at least one of the county seats and at least 1 of the council seats are likely to flip.

Comparisons abound.  Incompetent, arrogant, inept leadership.  Criminal and drug addled.  Dogged RINO determination to depress the base and keep us from voting as if the democrats were paying them.

RINO hatred of conservatives exceeds that of the most ardent leftist.  And they have no problem burning down the entire Party to implement their get-along to go-along vision of government.

The party leadership is largely responsible for this result, although they will surely blame everyone and everything else.

Had these candidates all been successful, you can bet that the Druggy Dave cult would be taking all the credit.

But now, as expected, it's blown up in their faces, they will do everything they can to distance themselves from these numbers and double down on the morons they ran in an abortive attempt to bail both themselves... and their RINO candidates out.

With the impending disaster looming in front of us, once again they should all resign... Druggy and his cult most of all.

But we all know better, don't we?

As another NFL season looms, so does the headline: 74 people shot, 11 fatally, in Chicago over the weekend. Black lives don't seem to matter to blacks.

Yup.  This is called "the weekend." Or at least it is in Chicago.

I love football.  Played it for many years.  Love my Huskies, where I was a tackling dummy as a walk on for a little while back in 77.

But I don't love it enough to turn a blind eye to the ongoing insult and belittlement of my country, my Flag or my service to this Nation.

A group of people of the leftist bent feel compelled to, effectively, piss on our country whenever the mood strikes.

Among this group are professional athletes.   They are among the finest in the world at what they do.

But what they do involves playing a game.  It involves running with a ball, throwing a ball, catching a ball, tackling the guys carrying the ball.

For that, many of these people get paid tens of millions of dollars.

And many of those same people feel compelled to engage in their childish, hypocritical behavior that does their very best to divide this country and increase racial division as much as possible.

And damned few of them are personally doing anything about the Chicagos across this country... where thousands of blacks are killed and wounded... and almost all of them by those of the same color.

Recently, LeBron James has chosen to join with the race-baiters in trashing the President.  James, for his part, may be the finest basketball player to ever live.  But how does that give him any expertise in politics or race?

What mystifies me is why what he thinks, says or does makes any difference.

He's one of the multi-millionaire spoiled rotten punks out there using (or at least attempting to use) the less-fortunate for his own purposes.  While I do admire his honesty ("I wouldn't meet with the President if he wanted to.") that childish, playground bullshit, while worshipped by the left, doesn't cut it in real life.

Dak Prescott, quarterback for Dallas, doesn't go along with the race-based hatred; has said so and has been subsequently trashed by the leftists possessed of their plantation mentality.
"I never protest during the anthem, and I don't think that's the time or the venue to do so," Prescott said last month. "The game of football has always brought me such a peace, and I think it does the same for a lot of people, a lot of people playing the game, a lot of people watching the game, a lot of people that have any impact of the game. So when you bring such a controversy to the stadium, to the field, to the game, it takes away. It takes away from that. It takes away from the joy and the love that football brings to a lot of people.
"So for me, I'm all about making a change, making a difference, and I think this whole kneeling and all that was all about just raising awareness. The fact that we're still talking about social injustice years later, I think we've got to that point. I think we've proved and we know that there's social injustice. So I'm for taking a next step that whatever that step may be for action, and not just kneeling. I've always believed in standing up for what I believe in, and that's what I'm going to continue to do."
Prescott said he respects the players who have protested during the anthem, but he believes there is a better way to bring about a solution.
And he's getting hammered for it.

If the rest of the NFL shared his view, there'd be no boycott.

But they don't.

What if some white NBA player (The few there are... because, well, I guess affirmative action only counts for SOME) indicated they would never consider meeting with that hapless clown we got rid of in 2016?

There'd be riots in the street.  The NBA would crush him with fines if they didn't suspend him indefinitely.

James can play basketball.  Because he's a celebrity and good at a game, he's worshipped.  Because he's trashing the president, his words are echoed and reechoed around the land by a leftist lapdog media only to eager to hammer the administration as often as possible.

But how does his celebrity make him an expert?

Does this guy, worth hundreds of millions of dollars, experience oppression?  How about his kids or anyone else in his family?

I'll be continuing to avoid the NFL and their surrogates as well as their products and those who sponsor them.  As I will the NBA and any other outfit that believes they know better than the American people.

Dak Prescott is no expert, either. But his view isn't blinded by the hatred and victim inculcation that LeBron James uses to become the most recent flavor of the week media darling.

As a veteran, I'm all about the Constitution and the freedoms within.  Leftists?

Not so much.

I'm also all about protesting.  But this has never been about the 1st Amendment (which doesn't apply here) and these people have every right to engage in that protest whenever they want... as long as it's on THEIR time and not mine.

James, for example, has a right to shoot off his mouth even when, as in this case, it makes him sound like  hypocritical clown.

And while that will make him a hero of the left (Any moron spouting leftist garbage is a hero to the left) that doesn't make him right, it doesn't make him an expert and it doesn't mean that his opinion has any more value than my spaniel's.

And until the American people end their desire to be manipulated by the famous merely because they ARE famous, right or left?

We're going to be in serious trouble.

Meanwhile, these multi-millionaire punks throw their media hissy-fits.

And the rivers of black on black blood continue to flow while they drive their Bugattis.

The anonymous RINO scum attacking PCO's provide all the justification needed to vote against Jaime Herrera.

So: illegal anonymous mailers are going out that have the stench of Crain all over them.

Crain, who is the complete conservative-hating RINO, has been attacking conservatives for years.  Even now, this fake Republican demands that all other Republicans vote for her RINO slate while she chooses to vote for non-Republican Marc Boldt for County Chair, as laid out here:

Rank hypocrisy doesn't even begin to cover it.

It's not like an actual Republican isn't running in that race: yet none of the scum attacking PCO's have endorsed her... and Crain wants us to vote AGAINST an actual Republican.

Why on earth would a Republican PCO ever want that?

Meanwhile, Crain's endorsement of my leftist brother-in-law, who was also endorsed by the fringe-left Young Democrats, by itself provided all the justification anyone needs to vote against everyone on that list her fake Republican group spewed out in the post linked above.

But her latest abortion is a full-on reason to vote against Jaime Herrera.

Here's one of her lies sent out to get a RINO elected to PCO:

"Colwell voted to censure Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler for funding our military budget."

That's a lie, of course, typical of the psychotic Crain-ilk.  But it's rare to find truth and the Crain cult anywhere in the same room.

But even if it were true, and God Knows Herrera should have been kicked out of the GOP years ago for her leftist voting record, what those reading her garbage are being told... is that based on one vote (that never happened) Colwell should not be a PCO.

Well, if that's true... then shouldn't Herrera's democrat vote to oppose the repeal of Obamacare be reason enough to vote against her for reelection to Congress?

How could this scumbag, who badly wants her fellow RINO reelected to Congress, oppose such an outcome?

After all, she or one of the other Gellatly Cult members wrote this tripe and sent it out, didn't they?  She wouldn't want to be a proven hypocrite and liar, would she?

If a fictional vote like the one described in this trash is reason to vote against Colwell for PCO... then shouldn't Herrera's democrat vote to keep the hated Obamacare in place be all the reason needed to vote HER out of office?

It is for me.

Memo to Ann Donnelly: Is this what you meant in your bogus attack on PCO's smart enough to disagree with you?

Regular readers know about the character assassination these "former GOP chairs" engage in as they desperately try to keep their corrupt, RINO control over the local party.

One of the more interesting likes from the sewage they troweled out was this:
"We advocate conducting our party’s grass-roots activities in a respectful, collegial, and professional manner, without personal attacks or undue dissention."
Last night, this was the kind of "...respectful, collegial, and professional manner, without personal attacks or undue dissention." that was going on... the kind that shows the rank, stinking hypocrisy of those scum.
I will just ask politely that you and your little group of special people refrain from attempting any kidnapping (illegal citizens arrests) moving forward, or I probably will see you in court.
And,
Sorry bud,

Nothing you demand means anything of relevance. And denying facts doesn't make them go away.

Here are a couple for you, Suzanne Gerhardt posted online to all CCRCC members that she had provided a treasurers report at all board meetings. However, she didn't for several months which caused another board member to accuse her and and[sic] her husband of theft. Myself and another board member stepped in to resolve it. Also, Suzanne told the board several times that all PDC reports were completed on time, which after calling our third party filer we found was completely false and had never once been on time and the failure to do so lead to thousands in fines for the party.

Take care.
Plus
Let me know if you need my attorney's contact info. Along with the supporting facts that lead to her removal.
And what started it all:
Noted: luckily Suzanne did not do our books, so we are much luckier than the CCRP who had to deal with the consequences of her lies to the board and the CCRCC members.
These were the responses to the demand to review the books of a bogus little PAC effort by someone we all know and despise.

For me, the question is:

Of these responses, could any of you six idiots explain to me which are "...respectful, collegial, and professional manner, without personal attacks or undue dissention?"

You should have no difficulty doing that, since they all came from that drugged out, narcissistic, scumbag party chair that you so slavishly support.

I, for one, find it extremely bizarre that you support a chair who lies like he breathes, attacks in every possible way those smart enough to oppose him, and who routinely engages in character assassination all while forgetting his own criminal and drug record that none of you care about (Even though none of you would even consider hiring someone with a record like his to work in your business) while you people keep him in charge.

If you liars REALLY felt the way you did in that letter, you'd have no problem whatsoever condemning this slimeball and demanding his ouster.

But since none of his attacks are ever directed at you, clearly, you simply don't care what he does as long as he does what he's told.

You and those like you are despicable hypocrites and I look forward to neutering you all at the reorg.
