That the observation concerning "democrats" is true... what's missing is a little introspection.

WHY is the county commission ALL Republican?

Doesn't that infer that the leftists of Edmonson's ilk are doing something wrong?

WHY are their no democrats on the commission, particularly after the campaign of C3G2 and democratian character assassination and attacks on the most "hated" Republican in the county?

WHY are all the commissioners GOP?  WHY are 12 of 15 legislators representing Clark County GOP?

WHY was their agenda has been rejected?  Perhaps it's because the people are sick of being ignored by elected democrats?  That perhaps, when democrats ARE elected, and they then proceed to become punks like Steve "I don't speak for the people, I only speak for Steve" Stuart?

So, Edmondon's idiotic complaint is that Democrats don't have a voice... and I'm thankful for that when they insist on running total, fringe-left morons like Mussolini Mikey Briggs and Bully Loserham.  But what she fails to do is to accept any responsibility for that.  It's her blind, partisan hatred that's the thing.

Edmondson is correct:  on the county commission, there are no democrats.  Of course, she'd be giddy if the commission were all made up of her fellow neo-communists.  She wouldn't then care that the Republicans "had no voice."

But then, hypocrisy is a mainstay of the fringe-left.

Then, Edmonson goes on to whine thus:

Obviously, she doesn't understand the difference between "need" and "WANT."

She's a partisan hack.  She wrongly believes that the left deserves something merely because they're there. She delusionally states: "It gets pretty tiresome having the 'my way or the highway' mentality making all the decisions."

Really?  Was she or any other leftist out there demanding that the fringe nutters infesting the CRC Scam get rid of loot rail as a price to get the CRC thing built?

Nope.

Again, she complains about the "my way or the highway" when someone ELSE is in the "driver's seat."  If the democrats were running things, do you still believe she'd be this concerned about the GOP "having no voice" or her bizarre concern over this "my way or the highway" nonsense?

The GOP runs this county because the democrats insist, as a political philosophy, on ignoring the people, trusting that their brilliance will overwhelm the will of the people.

They were wrong.  They ARE wrong.

And, when the democrats, wandering around in the fog of their own making, keep smacking themselves in the head, looking around and wondering: where have we gone wrong?

You can't help that the head of your party is a psychopathic liar and a clueless moron.  But you can at least attempt to marginalize him by refuting his lies to put distance between you.

You CAN help by actually listening and embracing the will of the people of this county instead of attacking and belittling their voice on the issues confronting us.

The left won't, of course: their arrogance and narcissism (Notice how most of them, like, say, Molehill Moeller, seem infested with that curse?) simply won't allow it.  And the result will be an increasingly red county and country.

  So far, two R's have said they are interested in running for the Chair position of the newly reorganized county government. If Tom Mielke states an intention to run that's THREE Republicans. And if previous behaviors are any insights into the future, I would say that Ann Rivers (AKA the CRC Bridge Killer) is never what she presents to be. We need a DEMOCRAT in the race!!

Moeller is from a long line of coat-holders.  During the repeal of DADT, Moeller was one of those clowns whining the loudest that gays weren't allowed to openly serve in the military.

That was a good policy then, it would be a great policy now.

That said, what did ol' Molehill do when that fringe-left whack job in the White House changed the policy?  I mean, after all, with all the whining he was doing, you'd think that a per diem thief would beat a path down to a Marine Corps recruiter and sign up.

Nope.  Never happen.  He never gave a rat's ass enough about this country to ever actually want to serve it.

I bring that up for this simple reason: Instead of whining and sniveling about no democrat running (And subsequently getting crushed) what's stopping HIM from running?

In short, I'm willing to consider them if they uphold the 2nd Amendment and are willing to enforce pre-Obama immigration laws.  Santorum lost me with his stupidity in 2012.  Not sure of the positions of many others.

I have other criteria to winnow down the field... repeal of Obamacare, increase in the size and capability of the military, opposes women in combat, has a clue about foreign policy... pretty much the complete opposite of the policies in place now.

Absent American leadership.  Rampant race-baiting.  Using blacks as political tools.

Black blood gets all the publicity. Blacks are slaughtering each other at a record rate. Let blacks slaughter whites, and it's no big deal. In fact, recently, that very thing has been happening... you have to work to find it, of course, because race baiting sells.

Oddly, when I was in the Army, I learned that the color of blood is indistinguishable, regardless of it's source.

But this is the fruit we as a nation have borne by virtue of inculcating minorities with the "victim" gene.

Their failures are always someone else's fault. Their successes are in SPITE of the efforts of non-minorities around them, and not because of them.

We fight as a society to revel in our differences. Black, Asian, women history months. My half-Filipino son did not need Affirmative Action to become a law student at UofO. But he could have used it by virtue of claiming his Asian half.

But how is it that he achieved all those academic awards in high school? How did he do so well at the UDub?

His blood is the same as mine. His skin color is slightly different. He was born in on the East German Border. (Fulda) He's a multi-national Asian/Islander who has lived a life and achieved great things based on WHO he is and not WHAT he is.

The only thing galvanizing the race baiters is the color of Michael Brown's skin. It's the excuse of victimization. These clowns are acting this way because we, as an American society, have fostered this kind of response.

Instead of, for example, making it more difficult to get welfare, we make it easier. Instead of making it more difficult to vote, we belittle and devalue the franchise by making it easier. Instead of developing a society where we demand that everyone take responsibility for their own actions, we make allowances for those who "can't help it."

Michael Brown is dead. And that is a tragedy. But it is a tragedy of his own making on a course he set for, and traveled for, himself. The response to that has been even worse but it serves as a cautionary tale.

His parents blame everyone but themselves. And they are now acting the quintessential victims. Does anyone REALLY wonder how Brown turned into a gigantic, 300 pound thug?

But that's different.

It's ALWAYS different. Because that's the way we, as a society, have built it to be.

And at some point, if this ship of state isn't righted... and soon... blood is going to flow. And those behind all this won't like the outcomes at all.
