The popping sound you here is leftist heads exploding across the nation as their plan to cripple the Trump Administration via activist court judges was just vaporized by a 6-3 decision in the US Supreme Court.

District court rulings no longer have the ability to cripple governmental decisions designed entirely to stop Trump. This is perhaps the last vestige of the plan the left had implemented to curtail presidential powers they disagreed with.

As it says, it appears that Trump's EO on birthright citizenship, for example, is now in full effect.

Finally, common sense has reared it's ugly head.

Well, it would seem that NYC took the first step in becoming a shithole like London, by allowing a terrorist-supporting neocommunist thug to likely become mayor. This MAY, however, turn out differently due to NYC's adaptation of ranked choice voting.
Because no one achieved the 50% threshold, there is to be another round of voting. The lowest vote-getter is dropped from the ballot until someone achieves the 50%+1 vote level. There are enough votes available, were they to coalesce behind Cuomo (who, as bad as he is/may be, is light years ahead of this cancer on government) and ultimately, defeat a militant terrorist-supporting example of the nightmare of a junior AOC in government.

However, were this nimrod to BE elected, ultimately the few remaining sane NYC voters will come to regret this horrific choice. It is of note that people everywhere, including the State of Washington, have the government they deserve. With this moron running the show, NYC will serve as the test-tube for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez-style destruction. And on the plus side, NYC'll serve as THE example of what can happen when voters become so apathetic they stay home.

Understandable, to be sure, but actions have consequences. And if those voting leftists last year in this state haven't felt those consequences yet HERE, they will soon feel it when their property taxes explode again, when energy prices explode again; when a massive decrease in AVAILABLE housing, let alone AFFORDABLE housing takes place as the leftist legislature continue their efforts to punish landlords, when democrats extort ever-increasing amounts of money through punishing taxes... much like the refinery tax scam and their incessant effort to steal even more money via an income tax that they'll never stop pushing... they soon will.

It's sad what they're doing to this state. What laws they ignore when it suits them, their aiding and abetting illegals, their support of terrorists who they allow free rein to riot, their support of criminals and the ever-increasing number of homeless... their light rail fetish wasting additional billions... their misguided and obviously unconstitutional efforts at taking our weapons away... and their ongoing efforts to punish those driving internal combustion-engined cars and trucks... our gasoline now among the most expensive in the United States as a result of this tax ripoff.

New York may soon come to find out what increasing lawlessness looks and feels like as this guy guts NYPD, were he to be elected.

How long until the National Guard has to be deployed to restore order? And then what?

Every day that goes by, the democrats make the midterms look better for the GOP and worse for themselves. Rahm Emanuel, perhaps best known for his axiom ".... never allow a serious crisis to go to waste" SHOULD have been ignored this time. For over the last decade, democrats have had a huge problem condemning violence perpetrated by their political allies. For example, one of Gov. Tim "No Balz" Walz's biggest achievements was allowing Minneapolis to burn for 3 days before he finally acted during the democrats worship phase of their god, George Floyd. Democrats essentially remained silent during the subsequent riots.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkin's response to the CHOP insurrection that took over much of Capital Hill in Seattle? To Trump, who only threatened to send in troops (which he clearly SHOULD have done) "Seattle is fine. Don't be so afraid of democracy." Well, again, the democrat's version of what she called "democracy" resulted in two teenagers shot to death and one seriously wounded, all 3 of them black, killed by her political allies in that obvious, textbook definition of an insurrection.

Most recently, in the face of the criminal acts such as damaging Teslas and fire-bombing their dealerships as some sort of payback against Elon Musk (Never mind that it's primarily their fellow leftists who BUY Teslas) democrats typically sat there like Buddha and said nothing since they support these illegal activities for the most part, while steadfastly refusing to condemn the illegals committing violence and protests in many locations around this country.

Keep in mind the fact that this "take it to the streets" extortion will change nothing and accomplish nothing except for ONE thing: a huge increase in political liability for their democrat defenders. And now, the out-of-touch left, desperately seeking SOMEONE to lead them, are claiming law enforcement; in this case, the deployment of Guard and Marines; MADE these people loot, burn and riot, while closing down freeways, vandalizing businesses and offices and generally making total asses of themselves.
   Once again, democrat's take it in the chops over LA riots as they continue to staunchly defend illegal aliens, criminal and otherwise. The ongoing thread of democrat reaction? Violence is fine as long as leftists perpetrate the violent acts.

Will they ever learn? (Those let in under Biden destroying Waymo (self-driving vehicles costing around $200K each)) and police vehicles (fully outfitted, costing roughly another $200K each) while waving mainly Mexican flags? If they want to stay here so badly, why wave the flags of the invading countries? Just another reminder of Biden/Harris's open border policies).

And on top of this, Newsom got a knuckle sandwich in court yesterday when his moronic effort to force Trump to withdraw troops was denied.

I guess Newsom never did go to law school. This is one serious crisis the democrats SHOULD have allowed to go to waste.

The Iran and nuclear weapon issue.

An influencer came across the timeline today and he's effectively pissed off, as some in Congress claim to be, that we might find ourselves embroiled in the Iran nuke issue.  To which, I responded thusly:

Is waiting until they have one or some the best plan? And then what? A sternly worded letter?

It's easy to blow holes in what someone else is doing. But both the US and Israel do not have the luxury of being wrong here on this issue. We only have to be wrong once. There will be no do-overs. But indisputable evidence that Iran is doing all they can to get a nuke is just that: indisputable.

Iran has been chanting death to US and to the Israelis for decades. Are you suggesting that such a foreign policy goal for Iran is acceptable?

What would you have us do in the alternative? If this is doing it wrong, then what do we need to do to make it right?

I don't expect a viable... or any.... response.

But when you're confronted with a country who wants the destruction of the Great Satan (US) AND Israel... a country where diplomacy has failed for decades... what else is left to do? Whining about taking this option without providing a different, viable option is truly fringe-left at it's core.

It's democrat political leadership supporting the rioters/looters. It's democrat leadership failing to condemn violence as they've failed for YEARS to condemn leftist-perpetrated violence. It's democrat leadership once again, failing to read the room.

It's the more modern day version of lemmings diving face-first over the cliff.

On one hand, it's yet another example of democrat stupidity and incompetence. On the other, it's confirmation that in most cases, democrats are unfit to govern.

As they will find out in 2026.

With the deployment of Marines and additional National Guard, the leftists running California and L.A. HAVE to keep the riots going.

They have no choice now.

If Trump succeeds, it will be ANOTHER political disaster for both Newsom AND Bass, who proved their political incompetence in the recent fires that rocked LA.

If Trump's deployment of troops is successful, then he will get the credit and Gov. Incompetence along with Mayor Moron will look like complete idiots that Trump had to come in and bail out in SPITE of them, their opposition notwithstanding.

Trump, for his part, now MUST end these riots by whatever means he can for the same reason.

The ripple effects of this will likely determine the mid-terms and play a major role in '28, either way.

Both sides are all in. Now, we've got to see what The River will deal.

Watching the leftist riots in LA, the thought occurred to me that leftists generally and elected democrats ALWAYS excuse/justify these riots, never holding those actually engaging in burning, looting and assaulting responsible, always siding with those same rioters and always lending at least tacit approval of those riots by blaming others generally, and Trump, et al, particularly, as if he is responsible for every fire, every police officer injured, every bit of vandalism and all destruction resulting from the actions of the political allies of those in charge.

Why not blame the rioters? Because elected democrats see them as political allies. Burn buildings, block freeways, assault police officers, fail to hold rioters accountable? That's the democrat standard de jour as we observed all too frequently during the THREE MONTHS of unfettered riots in the Oregon capitol of leftistism, Portland. 

Newsom, for his part is not making demands of the rioters. In fact, Newsom's latest debacle is to placate his rioting political allies by wasting additional taxpayer dollars to sue Trump for deploying federalized troops in his formerly great state. Since he supports them, he's shifting all the blame to Trump, as if that abrogates his responsibilities as governor.

It doesn't.

Those in charge all took an oath to enforce the laws of their respective cities and their state. Yet, they're doing essentially nothing to enforce that oath or those very laws.

Instead they whine and snivel and blame Trump for doing what HE is REQUIRED to do.... and they then blame those brought there to enforce the law instead of blaming any of those responsible for breaking it.

Count on the left to continue to be supportive of the scum rioting. Count on them to staunchly defend the 20 in the 80/20 equation on issues the American people do not support.

As usual, ala their Tesla debacle, leftist politicians either remain silent or come out directly in support of those who would damage, burn, loot and assault, using the arrest and round up/deportation of those who have no legal right to be here and who, in many instances, have shown a proclivity to use our laws as toilet paper generally and then, once here, engage in every conceivable crime from murders on downwards, specifically.

Those in leadership on the left have proven their disregard of their constituency by fighting harder to return an illegal alien criminal to the United States than they fight for the safety and the rights of those same criminal's victims.

And how does the left respond?

Well, the Governor of California is far more concerned about the presence of federalized National Guard troops in his state than he is over the actions of those that were the cause of their deployment in the first place. His latest political kabuki theater? Suing Trump for the obviously needed deployment of Guard troops.

The democrat’s political priorities have ben screwed up for years. Doubling down on those priorities to the determent of the people they're in office to protect (which does not include illegal aliens, BTW) will not improve their standing at the polls, where it matters most.

Supporting the abhorrent, hate-based criminal activities of their supporters will not avail them the success they so desperately seek based on the blood and destruction they so obviously foment and crave to achieve their political agenda.

Yet, that is precisely what democrats are doing here... never allowing a serious crisis to go to waste. Meanwhile, they continue to provide support and assistance to their illegal alien voter base in violation of federal law as they directly aid and abet illegals violating the laws of the United States.

This is them, doing that.

Is Trump screwing up with TBBBA? (Big Beautiful Bill)

Sometimes, a Republican Congress can be just as bad as the democrats. This bill is one of those times, I believe.

Uh oh.

I've got a hard time dealing with vote-buying. I condemned Biden's vote-buying efforts with his student loan scam, I condemned Sideshow Bob Ferguson’s unemployment for striker’s vote-buying scam and now I'm going to condemn Trump's vote-buying effort of $5000 for each steel worker.

Picking out certain segments of society to benefit with cash payments over every other segment is, IMHO, an unjustifiable vote-buying scam no matter who does it... or which president is in office.

We are staring at a $37 trillion dollar deficit that no one in government seems to care about. Musk and his gang discovered several billion dollars of waste, fraud and abuse yet oddly, that money doesn't seem to be much reflected in what has become known at TBBBA, aka, The Big Beautiful Bill Act.

The Administration has taken a lot of heat over Musk's effort, and Musk, rightly, points out that TBBBA doesn't seem to reflect much of any of it. Musk is standing on principle, the principle that he, like many of us, believed that Trump also shared... Now? Now they trade threats. Trump threatens to cut Musk's contract. Musk threatens to end supply rockets to the Space Station.

What was the point if the budget Trump is advocating doesn't seem to reflect much, if any, of what Musk and his group discovered?

Is it coincidence that Musk is exiting government the day after expressing his concerns over a budget which, by itself, will increase the deficit by between $2.4 trillion and $3.8 Trillion? And what about follow-on budgets and that inevitable deficit spending?

This is not, I believe, how government is supposed to run. It wasn't for Biden. And it isn't for Trump.

That is not to say the entirety of the bill sucks; on the contrary, it has a lot of good stuff in it, kinda like every budget that preceded it.

But a huge part of Trump's platform was to get deficit spending under control. This is not him, doing that.

I, for example, appreciate $5000 as much as the next guy. But how is this justified? Right or wrong, it's not going to be an expenditure appropriated by Congress.... so why was it, legally speaking, bad when Biden did the same kind of thing for student loans, but fine for Trump for steel workers?

I think this is a mistake. I think it hands an issue to the democrats who are masters of class warfare and who now find themselves in a position to point out that certain segments of our society outside the billionaire class are being picked as winners while others are left to wonder: why steel workers and not us?

I can't explain it with a straight face. And this action fails that test.

When is enough... enough?

When will females realize that no one is helping them? That no one cares? That no one in authority will do the right thing on the issue issue because they know they don't HAVE to?

In fact, school districts in Washington State who rebel against this fringe-left insanity find themselves at legal risk as the state is threatening to cut off ALL funding if they don't implement and/or stick with their trans ideology.

These scum are willing to hurt ALL students in school district rebelling against this cult.  They refuse to abide to the state effort to ram their social engineering down the throats of these kids while refusing to care about actual females.

Government not only allows female's personal spaces to be invaded by males, they demand it. They've forced girls to undress in front of males claiming to be girls... and that has happened in our schools.

There's a large group of videos out there showing fake women crushing the real thing. Smashing skulls, throwing them down... destroying them competitively for one reason: they're males.

They know it because women will continue to do the only thing that, were they to stop, would end this horror show practically immediately.

I have no sympathy for women or girls on this issue any longer. 

I recognize they didn't ask for this insanity to be imposed upon them.

However, since the start of this idiocy, they've have had the power to end it.

For whatever the reason, they've chosen not to do so.

All women/girls have to do is refuse to play against... or with... fake women.

Simply refuse. Forfeit. Quit.

Will it suck? Of course. Will there be massive pressure, trumped up allegations, lies, media assassinations, retaliation by teacher union thugs? Absolutely.

But had the females on these teams or in these events... refused to play or otherwise compete? The problem would disappear overnight.

Women control this. They make these choices to become punching bags for fake women.

And we're supposed to be upset over these women/girls deciding to compete against men/boys? When they do NOT have to?

They can either stand by and change nothing... or they can get active and change everything.

But what's the alternative?

There is no other way.
