It's a short answer I know, but for a dull-normal type who supports the CRC Scam (And how disappointed he must be today) who is throwing a tantrum because it's not going the way he wants, is should suffice.
Fortunately for us, government at any level rarely does, given his rank ignorance and fringe-left partisan hackery.
Meanwhile, the process starts. Thankfully, because it's partisan, chances that a slimeball like Mike Briggs will get to be involved are slim... to none.
And THAT'S why it's partisan: to help ferret out the whack jobs who want this rip off rammed down the throats of the people of Clark County... the types who shouldn't be elected 3rd grade hall monitor.
You know... the people like Mike Briggs. Or genuine scum like Paul Montague. That way, it will be far easier to just not vote for them.

Someone tell me why it was important to make the Freeholders a partisan position? What does party politics have to do with deciding how to run our county? Isn't Clark County the home of all its citizens- whatever party they do or do not belong to?
I can see no legitimate reason to have these Freeholder positions be partisan. I believe this will only add another layer of problems for these Freeholders to deal with-- the interference of a political party directing "their Freeholders" to take certain positions to prompt a certain agenda.
I believe this will prove to be a mistake.
