You're a better student of local politics but I think that whole baseball scam was for the tax. They had BIG plans for that tax - a new Performing Arts theater, the Vancouver Symphony, "Saturday in the Park" events... Yes, the City of Vancouver was going to do well on the backs of Clark County citizens.
Likely the case, Martin. After all, once they get a tax or a fee in place, even if it's allegedly supposed to be sunseted, how often do they really go away?
