This weeks idiocy from Jim Moeller

Attached to the usual garbage column the pit yorkie spews every week against anyone, or any group to the right of Lenin, is this stupidity from the fringe left whacker, Rep. Jim Moeller (Communist-49)

  • Nice piece, John. And other than being immensely entertaining, the convulsions of the TEA Party and the Republicans have the local D's just scratching their "collective heads" ;-). As a two party system, our republic doesn't work well without a governing party and an functioning opposition party. However, other than being the "loyal opposition" the local R's have taken to "purify" themselves of party leaders who are not "conservative enough" - like Commissioner Marc Boldt.

It's hard to say what this will mean in the long run for Clark County politics but I suspect that either the R's will learn how to work with the D's to govern or devolve for a time into a bickering, finger pointing mess. The recent election of David Madore as Clark Co Commissioner will be very interesting for the next year or so as David gets his legs about him. I will make this one observation: it's one thing to be a king at US Digital, it's quite another to be a county commissioner.

  • Exclusive of the fact that Laird insists on writing like the fringe-leftist moveon.org was sending him a check every week, the complete hypocrisy of Jim Moeller, who hammered democrat congressional candidate Jon Haugen like a gong, crippling any chance he had against the empty-suited moron we are unfortunate enough to have representing us in Congress, is now on display for all.

I get that the Moeller's of the world admire Marc Boldt's politics.  But that admiration is quite situational, and was completely absent when Boldt was a legislator... and it's an "admiration" that only extends as far as his leftist positions, n matter how much the people oppose them.

And, because Moeller is obviously too wrapped up in himself to look, Boldt was destroyed in the most recent election.  He didn't just lose... he was massacred.  He managed to win 37 precincts.

Out of 222.  And that is the most complete, thorough destruction I have seen in a county-wide race, ever.

So, what gained their admiration and support, but not the people of this county's, was Marc's decision to completely turn his back on anything approaching "conservatism" or "Republicanism."  They included stellar democrats like former democrat House Speaker Joe King, ho once publicly indicated that Marc Boldt was "too stupid to be in the legislature."

I responded directly to Moeller on the web site.  But the fact is that the rag censor's me, since they hate everything about me and, as David Madore, Peter VanNortwich and Brent Boger can tell you, once they hate you... they hate you.  SO, I doubt that he'll see my response, since my conservatism is loathed by the rag and my responses completely censored.

That's why I'm also posting it here.

  • Odd, isn't it? Your rank, stinking hypocrisy over the GOP's handling of Boldt's political treason, wherein he voted as a mirror of Steve Stuart on issues this county loathes (Not that you give a damn, of course: since when have you ever given a damn what the people wanted when it didn't fit in with your fringe-left agenda?) and your bizarre observations concerning the GOP's decisions over Boldt (which are really none of your business) and your own "ideological purity" test YOU PERSONALLY slapped on Jon Haugen as you set about to cripple his congressional run against that empty-suited idiot, Herrera.

You pass judgment using standards that you apply to everyone but yourself. And that, of course, is just part of the reason why I believe you to be despicable.

And then this stupidity: "It's hard to say what this will mean in the long run for Clark County politics but I suspect that either the R's will learn how to work with the D's to govern or devolve for a time into a bickering, finger pointing mes."

In this neighborhood, fringe-leftist whack jobs such as yourself are in the minority. Thus it's YOU and YOUR SORT who have to learn to work with the R's, isn't it?

I have many problems with your type of Mussolini-style government arrogance. Not the least of which is your bizarre idea that WE must move towards YOUR fringe left positions while you do absolutely nothing at all in return. In your blinding partisanship and arrogance, you even despise the decisions of your own constituents by SUING them so their decision at he poll... repeated over... and over.... and over again... becomes utterly meaningless.

And that, sir, is why you're not fit to be a legislator, let along pass judgement on a now thoroughly rejected "Republican" who neither the right NOR the left supported.

But then, facts don't play all that much of a role in your realm, do they?
That slime like Laird spew this same fringe-left babble, week after week while giving the disaster of his own fringe-left positions a complete pass is the main reason his leftist observations are worthless.

Are their "purity" tests?  Of course there are.  For example, how many pro-life democrats are their in elective office?  How much money did the state democrats blow trying to get rid of democrat State Senator Tim Sheldon (D-Potlatch) in the primary?  How much did they blow getting rid of that Senator from Everett 2 years ago, Jean Berkey?

Yes, there are "purity" tests... and both sides use them.  But Moeller's failure to mention that thousands of democrats refused to vote for Boldt goes to the heart of the matter: he sees only what he wants to see, and trashes the reality around him.

Because based on the numbers, it sure seems like Boldt failed the democrat voter's purity test as well.  But Moeller simply can't grasp that.  And that kind of blinding partisan bias is what makes him the cancer of the legislature.

The Moellers, the Lairds, the Brancaccios and the rest of the politically active leftists of this area are, in large part, responsible for Boldt's destruction at the polls.  And their complete lack of introspection as a result of that outcome means that Moeller is dead wrong.

But he doesn't care.  Because the sheep voting for him don't hold him accountable... for anything.
