Tanner blows it: "I have not been endorsed by the Sierra Club."

It's not just that the Columbian lies... or is incompetent... it's also that they're so bad at it.

At the Seattle Times, at least they're doing their bias as an "in kind contribution."  The democratian is obviously doing the exact same thing... just not being honest enough to admit it.

As the democratian generally and anti-Republican slimeball Stephanie Rice in particular continues their campaigning for the democrats they've endorsed like they getting paid for it, they're again acting as their propaganda arm:
Tanner calls out Mielke for false statements

While I was just looking at the pictures in Commissioner Tom Mielke's four-page advertisement, Mielke's opponent, Ridgefield resident Joe Tanner, was reading the words.

Tanner wrote this today in response to the claims made in Mielke's ad:

"Almost every statement regarding my record and positions on issues was false. On many of these points Tom sat next to me in candidate forums and knows very well my positions. An example is that his insert stated that I 'support additional tax increases for light rail (Prop 1)'. I have repeatedly stated my opposition to Prop. 1, and stated that I will vote against that measure. Tom has heard me say this numerous times."

Tanner made other clarifications:

The statement that I oppose manufacturing jobs is just plain ludicrous.

At several forums that we have both attended, I stated that I support Bus Rapid Transit (rather than light rail) to satisfy the Federal requirement for high capacity transit.

I have never once stated support for tolls.

I have never been President & CEO of a company that filed bankruptcy.

I have not been endorsed by the National Sierra Club.
First, is claiming you "never once stated you support tolls" the same thing as unequivocally opposing them?

I don't think so.  Mielke certainly does.  That's part of why he's getting my vote.

Second, you'd think that even a leftist hack like Rice would have enough sense to fact check before she just blindly and stupidly re-prints Joe Tanner emails.

You'll note the one indisputable issue Tanner addresses above: endorsement by the Sierra Club, disputed by Tanner but... well... confirmed BY the Sierra Club?

That Rice was too stupid TO fact check just goes to show the simple leftist idiot is completely in the tank for the democrats like Tanner... and Boldt.

Of course, this begs the question:

Will Rice now quote Mielke or in any other way withdraw this campaign garbage?  Will she nail Tanner for his lie here like she's gone after Madore in the past?

Are you fricking kidding me?  She's got the integrity of a Bourbon Street hooker.

And when will Rice go after Boldt for the lies in his literature?

What's that you say.... never?
