For several years now, Marc Boldt has been voting like his last name was Obama.
Here, in this video where he's talking to the democratian editorial board, he indicates he'd vote for a democrat no one has ever heard of who closely follows his own democrat ideology, Roman Battan, if he was not running himself. At about the 47 second mark.
Earlier, I had been told this statement was in conjunction with a CVTV interview. While that may be the case as well, Marc's response here is both unambiguous and typical of a man who has long since left any pretense of Republicanism behind him in the dustbin of his personal political history.
So, we have whack job Pat Campbell who would vote for fellow CRC/Light Rail/Toll fanatic Boldt, who would vote for fellow CRC/Light Rail/Toll fanatic Battan who in turn would vote for fellow CRC/Light Rail/Toll fanatic Campbell.
Do you detect a pattern here?
Full disclosure: Marc Boldt is my brother-in-law and I worked for him for 6 years in the Legislature. No candidate or campaign has influenced, impacted or is even aware of these posts before they go out.
