While troubled by Mr. Cheney's recent heart transplant (Yes, I know he waited 20 months to get this heart... but still, on aggregate, how many people his age get heart transplants?) I do not wish him ill-will or beieve him to be a war criminal or any of that fringe-leftist garbage.
Still, the more rabid of the fringe left still want him dead. And, no doubt, the same variety of scum assaulting Ann Romney will jump up and down spewing their hateful gibberish when that event happens.
Can you even begin to imagine the outcry if those on the right started attacking Obama and the Klingon Princess the same way the left has attacked Cheney and Ann Romney?
But that an elected democrat official, even a state representative, could want his death? How infected are the democrats, anyway? And THIS guy is "Chair of the Maine Moderate Caucus."

Maine has been at the center of calls for civility and bipartisanship since Sen. Olympia Snowe announced her retirement citing “political paralysis.” But one Maine Democratic legislator seems to have missed the memo, sending out a tweet in which he seemingly called for former Vice President Dick Cheney’s execution.
State Rep. Chuck Kruger, the Democratic chairman of the Maine Legislature’s Moderate Caucus, tweeted in August, “Cheney deserves same final end as he gave Saddam. Hope there are cellcams #cheney.” The Maine Wire first reported this, and preserved a screen shot of the now-deleted tweet.
In an email to The Daily Caller, Kruger clarified, “I do not wish for the death of Dick Cheney or anyone. I did NOT call for his execution, that was an absolute smear from an organization dedicated to damaging Democrats. I did make a lousy attempt at humor, and I regret that.”
His latest tweet suggests that he has taken that sentiment to heart: “Twitter is no place for lousy attempts at humor,” he wrote.
Kruger said he “joined the mod caucus because we are very polarized and several of us want to find common ground on key issues.”
More:But his comment is not being received as an indication of that.

I just want to say, as one of "these idiot leftists," I was one of the first to post about Cheney's. Situation. My post was merely asking for prayers and good thoughts for speedy recovery.
Let's not make general, overly broad statements when fanning the flames. Deal?
