The likely end of Marc Boldt's political career.

This is a robocall from Marc Boldt.  He is a Clark County Commissioner and, for purposes of full disclosure, my brother-in-law.

A loooooong time ago, he used to be a conservative Republican.  While he still calls himself that, he doesn't even bear a slight resemblance to the crusading young state representative who would take on the world for principle.

Instead, he's long since become a democrat lackey, voting to attack our gun rights, avoid an advisory vote on the horrific CRC bridge and loot rail project, voting to increase our property taxes so the money could go to the County Health Department (That his wife, my sister-in-law just happens to work for.... sheer coincidence, I'm sure) and voting to jack up our sales tax for rehab of druggies... did I mention my sister-in-law, Marc's wife, just happens to work there.... all without asking us?

And now, a select few have the right to vote on yet another tax increase that the entire county will have to pay... but which a 100,000 or more voters are restricted from having any say over... because, while Marc has been on that same CTrans board, he voted to exclude us all from getting a vote.

Here's Marc's robocall:

CTrans does NOT need the money.  They have tens of millions in reserve, and the idea that these cuts MUST be made is a scare tactic to get people to vote for a tax increase when all they have to do is shut down their gee-wiz unneeded and unwanted Bus Rapid Transit project and end their bizarre support of the multibillion dollar boondoggle of the Columbia River Crossing.

Listen to this robocall.  Does this sound like a Republican?  Does ANY Republican SUPPORT raising taxes in the middle of a horrific recession with double-digit unemployment in this County?

It's hard for me to believe that any so-called Republican could possibly do more to ask for a challenge in the primary.

You be the judge.
