Today's obligatory hit piece against David Madore digs up "dirt" in that Madore ran for a school board position 25 years ago, apparently, and lost.
Big whoop.
It's not that they don't write this way about David Nirenberg (They don't) who primarily funds democrat candidates and causes. After all, as a fringe-left organization populated with leftists, that sort of thing is to be expected... and that, typically, is what they deliver.
No, that's not the point of this post.
The point is this garbage from democratian shill Andrea Damewood.
Lynn, I think that you'll see over the past few weeks we've written about a variety of issues that candidates have had. Most of these races have not even been vetted yet by our editorial board, which has no hold over the news reporting anyway.
I agree that you should be prepared for reporters to research your past if you make yourself a prominent public figure, however. That's part of of the fishbowl of running for office.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't pull any punches on anyone. If there's something I find about anyone that is news/blog-worthy, it'll sure be reported.
Clearly, there are lies, damn lies and democratian reporters.
This very blog, the "All politics is local" blog has lied and deliberately misinformed people about me.
And, of course, it has been 6 months since this rag began their cover-up of Jim Jacks' alcohol fueled misconduct with female staffers on Legislative staff.
Six.
Months.
I know what happened. I broke what happened on this very blog. But the fact is that the democratian, which frequently reads this very blog has done nothing... investigated nothing... pushed no one... and reported zero as Lou Brancaccio served soft ball after soft ball to Jacks and ALLOWED him to walk away from his responsibilities WITHOUT disclosing the truth.
Andrea, on the other hand, tells us "I don't pull any punches on anyone."
Jim Jacks would beg to differ.
But David Madore?
That he ran for a minor position 25 years ago and lost... well, THAT is NEWS.
What garbage.
