Yes, it's 9/11. Again, NFL version: does the attack mean so little that you HAVE to play football today?

.
So, here we are on the 10th Anniversary of the Attack that was SUPPOSED to have changed everything.

Odd, that.  The NFL is SOOOOOO important, that they have to play football today.

Thousands died... thousands more died while tens of thousands she d their blood in the military... and professional sports (among other things) have to go on.

It's nice to know the attack was so important to us.

This country should have shut down today, except for essential services.  We should have shown the world that this all matters.

Instead, the terrorists look at today and if they don't see targets of opportunity, they see a country doing business as usual because the attack really, genuinely and quite apparently... didn't really matter.

Once again, we've blown an opportunity.  But, by God... professional football will be on television, saints be praised!
