Here's our future, Clark County: the current stats that the democratian does not want you to see,

.
It's a shame that when it comes to the horrific bridge/loot rail project, we don't have a daily paper remotely interested in doing anything, no matter the costs or impacts, except to lie, manipulate and exaggerate to get this virus rammed down our throats.

Well, here's what's going on with Sound Transit, where lies and deceit are the model for what the local CRC scum does.

CRC is lying. They're lying about the costs, they're lying about the requirement that we had to have loot rail to get a new bridge, they're lying that we even NEED a new bridge.

Well, here's a reality check from the Washington Policy Center:

Sound Transit operating expenses are high while ridership is
low

March 2, 2011 by Michael Ennis

Sound Transit officials released the 4th Quarter Ridership Report for 2010. This report is important because it includes performance data for the full year.

Not surprisingly, officials fell short of their annual ridership targets and in some cases their cost targets. Light Rail reliability is getting better (81%) but it is still well short of Sound Transit's target (greater than 90%).

It is also important to point out just how expensive Sound Transit's operations are. In 2010, Express buses had a cost per boarding of $7.48. Sounder Commuter Rail had a cost per boarding of $13.74. And Central Link (light rail) had a cost per boarding of $6.78.

Bus operating costs for King County Metro was only $3.90 per boarding in 2009 (I have a request to Metro for 2010 data).

These costs, apparently, do not include federal subsidies, which drive up the per-boarding waste of money.

For roundtrip fares... naturally, double the per-rider subsidies for each trip.

This is the kind of garbage the slime at the CRC are attempting to get us to swallow so they can enrich their buds and permanently enslave us.

And once they do it on this... there's no end to it.

Here's our future... massive wastes of money, lies, exaggerations... aided and abetted by a local rag that makes me want to vomit in their duplicity.
