Congrats to the Idaho Legislature for stripping collective bargaining out of teacher contract negotiations.

.
Were it up to me, I would outlaw any public employee union.

They are not legally entitled to a union; they have no right to strike, they are a large part of why we, as a Nation, are in such horrific financial shape as they strive to pick the bones of the taxpayer completely dry.

That said, kudos to the Idaho legislature for starting the process of stripping the nonexistent "right" of collective bargaining away from this fringe-left nutter organization "representing" teachers.

Well done.

Idaho teachers face loss of bargaining rights

Superintendent hails legislation’s passage; union urges protests

The Idaho House gave final passage to a far-reaching bill that removes most of teachers’ existing collective bargaining rights Tuesday, sending the measure to the governor’s desk and marking a big win for state schools Superintendent Tom Luna, who proposed the plan.

Luna hailed the move, calling it “a great step forward,” while Idaho’s teachers union, the Idaho Education Association, declared a “Day of Action” with after-school rallies across the state today to protest.
