The unbridled irony of Tim "The Liar" Leavitt.

.
Mayor McSlime was in fine form today, engaging in the rank hypocrisy that has marked his public service when, during his annual Goebbelian Presentation (AKA the State of the City Speech) he spewed:

And, in a jab to CRC skeptics, he added: “And we will not be distracted by those with disingenuous motives.”

And yet, one need go no farther then Mayor McSlime's own "disingenuous motives."

The Liar's number one accomplishment to date has been to lie time and again to get the more politically ignorant to vote for him; only to turn on them, as I stated repeatedly that he would, and flip on the issue of tolls.

And lying doesn't help, although considering his expertise on the matter, one can understand why he does it so often.
“There will be no third bridge in east Vancouver. We will not turn our back on this five mile corridor of our interstate. We will not turn our back on our citizens stuck in traffic every day.”

Of course, McSlime fails to mention that building this unneeded, unwanted and unaffordable crap pile won't do anything for "the citizens stuck in traffic." And, in time, whether he likes it or not, there WILL be a 3rd and 4th Bridge. That he doesn't like it doesn't make it so.

And, instead of "turning his back on those stuck in traffic," Mayor McMoron continues to shill a plan that will not only NOT do anything to help them, but will actually strip them of $100,000,000 per year when other, cheaper, much more efficient alternatives ARE available... but none of those alternative have the hated and despised (almost as much as HE is hated and despised) loot rail... which we must remember is the entire impetus for this fraud.

It's just such a shame that the Mayor of Vancouver has no integrity or courage, and puts the morals of a used car salesman up on a pedestal in comparison.

Thousands are ashamed of him. And unfortunately, nothing he blathered with his speech gave those any reason to change their minds.

Despicable.
