17th District Wrap up.

.
Life is back in the 17 race as GOP candidates spool up their fundraising efforts for the week.

Paul Harris who most likely will be taking democrat Stonier out in the 17 seat soon to be vacated by Deb Wallace reported a $1080 week while Brian Peck, running against democrat Tim Probst, bolted together a $1000 week.

While much more will be required, that's a pretty good week for the duo.

Stonier had a good week as well, with the leftist unions/groups lining up in a forlorn hope to save this unsaveable seat. $2150 was brought in, $1600 of it from the leftist thugs of the WEA combined with a democrat front group called "Stand for democrats."

Oooops....

I mean, Stand for Children, a group that has, to date, only given to leftist candidates Stonier and Probst.

In fact, as of now, Stand for Children seems to be a front designed entirely to launder money ONLY to Probst and Stonier.

A great deal of "Stand for Children's" money seems to be coming from a place called "Portland, RI."

I never knew there was a "Portland" in Rhode Island as opposed to Maine or Oregon. Google doesn't seem to have heard of it, either.

I'll be keeping an eye on this scam. Looks like a place called "Strategies 360" is involved in this enterprise. I look forward to SFC's C4.

If I were Stonier or Probst, I'd return their money.

But then, that's just me.

Probst, being the leftist incumbent, scored big bucks from many of the same kinds of outfits that support Jaime Herrera, or at least did in her 2008 run.

Probst got the same blood money from the WEA and stands for democrats that Stonier took in, plus Herrera's SEIU buddies kicked in a max... so he had a $6400 week... and every dime of it came from left-leaning pacs.

Well done, Tim.
