Why this blog, this way?

"A kind Providence has placed in our breasts a hatred of the unjust and cruel, in order that we may preserve ourselves from cruelty and injustice.

They who bear cruelty, are accomplices in it.

The pretended gentleness which excludes that charitable rancour, produces an indifference which is half an approbation.

They never will love where they ought to love, who do not hate where they ought to hate." -- Edmund Burke

Who am I? Just A Guy

I'm a Daddy, and a husband. I'm an Army veteran. I've got a BA in Government/Political Science and some Graduate work towards my MBA. I'm also a political veteran. Detractors frequently refer to me as a "political operative."

I'm just a guy. I'm nobody special. I am the only one responsible for what is posted on this blog. Right, wrong or indifferent, the content of my opinion begins and ends with me.

Others have tried to tie my blog efforts to campaigns, inferring that I write what I write because I'm paid... or volunteering. They've even gone so far as to attempt to hold others accountable for what *I* write.

Nonsense. No one controls me or has input, editing or censorship power on this blog but me. And this "killing the messenger" shtick does nothing to mask the corruption, stupidity and personal animus these people are exhibiting.

I sat in the chair of the Executive Director's office at the Washington State Republican Party where massive amounts of stark reality and cynicism were served on a daily basis. I learned far more than I ever wanted to know.

I cannot abide political corruption. When politicians lie and I find out about it, I'm going to call them out. When payoffs are made and I find out about it, I'm going to call them out. When others present themselves as "unbiased" while working very hard to support their candidate... I'm going to call them out.

When I'm wrong, those in question may feel free to call ME out. I will provide them with my soapbox, unedited, but not uncommented on. One has done so, but he never answered the questions. The vast majority complain but never rebut.

Today, I'm frightened for my country. We have seen what clueless liars in a position of leadership have done to us, and I mean to do everything I legally can to make sure that when they run... the bright light of day shines harshly on them.

I will not be cowed. And I will not go away.
