Why does the Clark County GOP fail to campaign against the democrats?

Seriously. There are only so many things that a political organization such as the Clark County GOP is responsible for.

Sadly, under Dave Druggie, they've failed in all of them.

1. Recruit Republicans to run for partisan office.

Has there been a more abysmal failure in this responsibility?

For example, in the most recent election under Kenny Smith and a conservative administration (2016), each and every elective partisan office in Clark County was contested.

Sadly, under the inept and incompetent administration of Davey Druggie, nothing close to that has taken place here.

The result?

The two legislative leftists in the 49th have no opposition and are 100% free to assist other leftists to run for reelection.  Druggie's administration didn't even bother.

Doug Lasher, who Druggie didn't even know was a democrat until I smacked him upside the head with that fact, was completely able to designate his leftist replacement who, I'm given to understand, "Republican" Peter VanNortwick dutifully endorsed (Alisha Topper)

Who did the GOP run for county treasurer?

No one. Because it was easier for that moron Gellatly and his idiot crew to just presume Lasher was going to run again and allow him a free ride than it was to actually do the work of finding an opponent.

Now, Druggie's brother immediately began to blame everyone else BUT Druggie for that obvious party failure. But the responsibility for that rests entirely with the "leader," who really knows nothing about politics or campaigns... and it shows.

2.  Ameliorate his damage to the Party in Court.

See the rest at the link on the left
Druggie kept stupidly claiming that there was a bill in the legislature that was going to "fix" all of that.  And, admittedly, his democrat buddies (and it's obvious Druggie has much more in common with the left, given his drug use, stripper contacts and objectification of women issues) gave it the old college try since they've had

Druggie blew off the Court in the AG's lawsuit.  First, he claimed he WAS going to go, and THEN he didn't even SHOW UP.  The result was a $70,000 reminder that not showing up for Court (and again, given Druggie's criminal record, it's pretty clear he has some experience in THAT arena as well)

And always, whenever anything goes wrong, Druggie refuses to take responsibility for anything.  Druggie's failure to appear was obviously the prior Chair's fault, as was anything bad going on now.

When it comes to blaming others?

Druggie has no peer.

Even RINO-in-Chief, Brent Boger blew Druggie up for that failure to appear.

So now, the local Party is buried in Court debt.

Druggie, of course, claims that under his dictatorship, everything has been perfect when it comes to well, anything.  It hasn't, of course, and much of that has been his fault... but in his mind, Druggie is "Mr. Perfect."

3.  Druggie spends far more time trashing conservatives than he does campaigning against democrats.

As the local GOP Chair, Druggie is SUPPOSED to be playing hardball with the democrats.  Instead, all we get is softball.

Literally.

This moron has filed a lawsuit to silence a one of the party Precinct Committee Officer.

He has attempted to "trespass" six of his political opponents merely because they ARE his political opponents who DO call him out for his incompetence and arrogance that has so damaged the local GOP brand AND destroyed party unity.

That's not going to be HIS claim, of course.

He will make up something about this single instance of "disruption" naturally, without applying the same standard to himself.

Not the least of his issues is an over-riding ability to be a hypocrite. He is an accomplished liar who represents the very worst politics has to offer.

4.  Druggie fails to hold RINOs accountable for their political actions.

Face it, Druggie is a tool.  He cares as much about Republicanism as he does the value of the zloty to the dollar.

He has spent FAR more time attacking conservatives WITHIN the Party, than he has campaigning against democrats... to the Party's obvious determent.

Because of his RINO puppet masters, Druggie could care less what those who've been elected do once they're in office.

As a result, there is zero accountability when these clowns vote like they're representing downtown Seattle.

For example, Sen. Ann "Gas Tax" Rivers was hired by a democrat campaign firm DURING session last year and WHILE she was "negotiating" the budget that SHE jacked up for $5.5 BILLION to pay off the teacher's union on the McCleary scam.

The result?  Every property tax statement for THIS year showed a horrific INCREASE as a direct result of Rivers' LATEST betrayal.  My tax statement alone increased roughly just under $900.

What did the Party DO about that?

Nothing.

What did the Party SAY about that?

Nothing.

And silence is complicity.

Of course, there is a certain subset within the GOP that definitely wants the GOP-elected to vote like democrats... ignoring their constituencies and kowtowing to the special interests who own them and corrupted them.

But MOST Republicans are sick of that infestation which has infected the GOP from here at the local level all the way to the top.

Our Congresswoman, for example, voted against the repeal of Obamacare, perhaps THE number one GOP issue.

What did the Party say or do about that?

Both Senators Lynda Wilson and "Gas Tax" Rivers voted FOR the horrific, leftist-centric budget that we're suffering for now.  Last summer, both Wilson AND Rivers got up on video and pledged to the PCOs that our property taxes would be going DOWN.

That had already been proven to be a lie... yet they said it and stand by it.

What did the Party say or do about that?

Most of the local GOP Electeds support the resurrection of the hated CRC/Loot Rail scam, instead of standing firm on the third and fourth bridge that IS needed as opposed to kissing the feet of the downtown mafia.

What did the Party say or do about that?

There are other instances of lies and betrayal and a deliberate effort to ignore the various constituencies at the expense of the special interest agenda.

And what has Druggie done or said about any of that?

Nothing.

Except to play softball with the democrats.

He's good at that when he's sober.

5. Druggie has a low rent criminal record that stretches back years, including multiple DUI's, failures to appear and bench warrants for his arrest... not to mention his drug use, part of which he's admitted to, the rest shown as evidence in public court documents.

To his cult-like followers, his obvious record of misconduct is meaningless.  Their objections, instead of centering on a drug-addled GOP Chair with a criminal record having the job, they blame the messenger (namely me) and Rep. Liz Pike, who called for Druggie's removal from the job as well.

My guess is that in the private sector, NONE of these same people would, under similar circumstances, hire Druggie to be a janitor.

But now?

Now he's their tool.  He's the out of control face of a Party supported by hypocrites with no regard for the rules or the bylaws and no democrat ever did more to damage the brand.

But he does what he's told... and that his actions are moronic and idiotic mean nothing to them as long as he dances to their

------------------------------------------------------------------

So, when folks look at this situation and see the ongoing train wreck that is the Clark County GOP,  and they ask "what the hell happened?"

This then is a brief summary of the "accomplishments" of the cancer that is the chair of that organization, Davey Druggie... the answer to that particular question.

THIS is where the energy has gone to the obvious benefit of the democrats.  THIS is where the money has gone.  THIS is the cause of the destruction of party unity.  THIS is why so many who have donated in the past have either shut their wallets completely, or instead have donated to Richard Colwell's legal fund.

And this is the main reason seats are at risk... between that and the RINO's in or running for office (Hoff) things look pretty bleak around here.

Right, Davey?
