The infection of hatred.

The other day, I was out to dinner with my lovely bride when an acquaintance came by our table to chat.

We talked about a variety of things... and they then started telling us about their most recent Easter Dinner they had attended... which included my mother-in-law, Judy.

As things turned out, conversation around the table turned to politics.

And when things turn to politics... well, when my MIL is around, that means things turn to talking about me.

Understand that I have no talked with my MIL in the better part of 7 years.  But to quote the bard, "that bitch is psycho."

It's an interesting family dynamic.  For example, my wife's ex-husband is treated like a member of the family.  "Mom" even went so far as to pay for his lawyer's effort to stop paying child support because of MY income... which is not allowed in this state (Child Support Law is one of my peculiar areas of expertise).

Imagine.  My wife's own mother paying for a lawyer so my wife's ex wouldn't have to pay child support for his kids.

To that end, the fact is that until I arrived, she owned her daughters (mt wife and her sister) with her credit cards.

One of the more interesting elements of my relationship with my wife, early on, was her complaints that her mother was attempting to run her life.

After some observation, it became clear to me that she was doing so through the use of her money ("Mom" makes something like $150K per year working for a government agency.)

I began to point this out:  end the money being spent; end the "influence" (control) that goes with it, and you'll end the interference.

It was a rough road to hoe.

Not because my wife didn't pull back from the money (which we didn't need) but because "Mom" saw her influence beginning to slip away.

And guess who she blames for that?

As a result, "Mom" became even more obnoxious and interfering.

She began to outwardly express disapproval at how we were raising the kids.  She went out and bought my wife's ex a double wide and set him up in a mobile home park local to our house in the school district so, when, according to her plan, the kids decided to run away from home and live with their dad, they could keep going to the same school.

Meanwhile, I stayed out of the way of my wife's ongoing relationship with her mom.  After all, it IS HER mom.

But I also stayed away from those people.

Even a dog knows when he's hated.

And then, of course, things started heating up on the political front.

But by then (2012) I hadn't spoken to any of the family more than 60 seconds in the prior 4 years.

Regular readers know I despise Marc Boldt's record of governance since he was elected to county commissioner and got bought like a loaf of bread.

He has long since forgotten his role as a GOP conservative and now outdemocrat the democrats.

And has... for years.

But my political opposition to Boldt has resulted in yet another straw on the camel's back that is my mother-in-law.

Her hatred of me has intensified and amplified, and is running neck and neck with her hatred of David Madore which has gone way beyond psychotic.

Meanwhile, this formerly hardcore Christian woman has become the hypocrite's hypocrite.

Goes to church.  Sings the hymns.  Lives in a world of hatred.

It infects every element of the relationship between her and her daughter, who is being held responsible for MY actions.... and she and those who think like she does have a great deal to say about me... just not to my face.

My wife is an amazing woman.  She is finding astounding levels of personal and professional success.

And her mother's world of hatred aimed at me, precludes "Mom's" involvement in any of it.

Meanwhile, the family, which has always ignored me (Fine... I'm not particularly family oriented, having lost most of mine years ago due to death and stroke and so forth) and typically trashes me at gatherings where, of course, I'm not around.

And in so doing, they also trash their own daughter.

My wife's sister has left her husband.  She moved out of the house quite some time ago from what I hear.

Likely they'll continue to remain married because Marc gets full, essentially free, benefits as a county employee, like health care.

And the optics would be very bad for Marc, considering what a nutjob HE'S become...

But that's the world of hatred that he revels in.  And that of his mother-in-law as well.

A response to the Madore hatred.

"We also see it as he continually refers to the three fellow County Councilor’s as “the three Liberals,” even though each has roots to the Republican Party, even though the chair, Marc Boldt ran as “no party affiliation.'

Labels, of course, are meaningless.  The entire CCRINO shtick, for example... labels that have nothing to do with reality.

Help me with this, Lew.  I'm not a part of anything involving Madore or the GOP.  But I would love to know this:

How have Boldt, Stewart or Olson voted differently in any way than their opponents, had they been elected, have voted?

When you run as a Republican... or a conservative... or a fake Republican... and you vote like you were a democrat... then exactly what is supposed to be done about that?

Marc ran as "no party affiliation," even though he was an utterly worthless PCO in the GOP who never once bothered to show up for the meetings, save for his moronic effort to get the GOP endorsement that caused the CCRINOs to lose their collective minds.

Are you angry that Madore has spoken something approximating the truth?  I keep asking those running now for council how they would have voted differently than Boldt, Stewart or Olson.

And none of them have responded.

As a prospective constituent, do I not have the right to ask?  And as a prospective constituent, do they not have the duty to answer?

Or is their failure to answer... an answer in itself?

The council majority has an agenda.  They are following it.  When Madore could, he ran HIS agenda, much of which had been approved at the polls.... and the local RINOs and leftists LOST THEIR MINDS.

Is it conservative to restore a 2% property tax cut, especially when Boldt supported the tax increases in the first place?  Is it conservative to do, in fact, EVERY SINGLE THING I SAID BOLDT WOULD DO if he were elected?

As I said, labels are meaningless.  How you govern is what matters... and these three have governed like anything BUT Republicans... or what I believe a Republican is.

Help me with this: how have these three voted any differently than their opponents, had they been successful, would have voted?

I maintained throughout the election cycle that there was zero difference between Boldt and Dalesandro.  School me.

HOW has Boldt voted any differently than Dalesandro would have?

THAT'S the crux of the matter.

Instead, they continue on in their mission to roll back everything Madore did, right or wrong, not because it was wrong... but because Madore was the driving force behind these initiatives... and the Jim Mains types and the left stand on the sidelines and applaud as the CCRINO types do their dirty work for them while they do nothing...

In reference to Madore, you write: "But he doesn't listen and continued down the same path and once assuming chair position of the county commission, pushed his views over any other..."

You mean, like Marc does?

To me, this isn't about Madore.  This is about a petulant jerk that's close to losing his mind... that I had to block from sending me his idiotic text messages... taking his hard-on for Madore out on all of us.  Because I'd like to know: what have Stewart, Boldt and Olson done FOR us, instead of TO us?

WE are the ones who will have to pay more because of Marc.  WE are the ones who suffer in silence because Marc is wasting additional tens of thousands MORE dollars on CREDC so Bomar can waste more of our money going on French vacations that avail us nothing... among other things.

How are we SUPPOSED to react to that?

I have never voted for Madore.  I've slapped him around on my blog when I thought he had it coming.  But I am never going to blindly hate him enough to think that what he says outside of actual governance... actual results... is somehow more important than the results of that governance.  And the governance of these three have been, IMHO, utterly abysmal.  I am never going to throw a childish fit of pique like the next failed GOP candidate in the 49th, Crain, who has less than a zero chance of getting elected dog catcher in Vancouver and despise everything the man has done merely because HE has done it.

I don't have that luxury.

And for those of us who feel this way... how are WE supposed to address that?  Come up with yet another bogus Republican group like Crain's and use it to attack those three?  Do the same thing to them that Crain and the CCRINOs are doing not just to Madore, but to Pike and Mielke?

How are we supposed to react to this insanity?

Does Madore have some fault in this?  Of course.  You bet.  Do all of the others who wanted this outcome have some blame in this disaster?  Absolutely, but they'll never admit it.  Do these three councilors have blame for some of this?

Absolutely.  But who takes them to task?  No one.  They are as pure as the driven snow to those who wanted us to ignore past voting records as if they wouldn't have any impact on future governance... and how idiotic is that?

Are these three running the council and ignoring the voters at the poll, engaging in Stuart-style governance somehow blameless?  Or are we all now watching this fungus of hatred emanate from them while we all suffer as a result and they indulge their payback agenda?

And I get that you believe that Madore screwed you.  But Crain's minions, among others of that ilk, have been beating me to a pulp behind the scenes... so what am I supposed to think... and do... about that?

There's filth everywhere in the political realm.  But the only thing that matters is outcomes.  And the majority outcome on the current council has been and will continue to be utterly abysmal.  And everyone involved is responsible... but everyone involved does not get the same level of scrutiny or condemnation.

Why is that?

Help me to understand.

I want to know.

So, Rep. Liz Pike has had at least one bill and three amendments signed into law. Will Guard and Mains apologize?

Recently, some of the CCRINO/Leftist scum infesting us were firing up their Rivers' inspired campaign to get rid of Rep. Liz Pike because she opposed so much of the garbage Rivers has been dumping on us lately.

Two of the leading loud-mouths are Sean "Deputy" Guard and Jim "Yeah, I'm A Liar" Mains.

I refer to that lying scumbag Guard as "deputy" because he pled guilty to impersonating a police officer AFTER he was elected mayor and Mains as "I'm A Liar" because that scumbag was telling the world that I was opposed to that fringe-left nutjob brother-in-law of mine's election, because David Madore was paying me.

The cancer of Ann "Gas Tax" Rivers and "Officer" Sean Guard
Hatred in politics is the cancer I speak of.  But hatred along with lies and innuendo is the very worst kind.
Regular readers by now know that my state senator, Ann "Gas Tax" Rivers, best known for lying about her non-existent opposition to increasing the gas tax and tab fees (from her campaign web site:)
...is in full-on payback mode against one of my state representatives, Liz Pike, who blew up Rivers' efforts (in which Rivers was sadly and ultimately successful) to screw us with a $1600 per-person gas tax and tab fee pop to bail out the numerous wastes of money in King County, such as the Big Dig Bertha debacle, by voting "no" on Rivers' gas tax/tab fee rip off.
Rep. Brandon Vick ALSO voted "no," as did every single Republican legislator in the 17 and 18th Districts, save for Rivers herself.  But Vick is somehow escaping Rivers' rather hypocritical wrath... because he's sworn fealty or something, and well, you can bet that Vick will never vote his district again if it crosses the power-hungry Senator from LaCenter.
I, of course, have been beating on the political hi-jinks of my former friend and business colleague for months.
Ever since she sold us out... unnecessarily... to dance to the tune of the special interests she now represents instead of us, I have been beating and beating on her politically... and I will continue to do so as long as she is in elective office.
Part of Rivers' payback campaign has been to round up a lap dog who will share in Rivers' dishonor by reassuring us that it's perfectly OK to lie to get elected and then do whatever the hell you want, because, well, that's how business, I am told, is done.
And to make that effort more palatable, Rivers and her leftist bud have developed a lie and started selling it among the rest of the CCRINOs concerning Pike: that she is no longer effective or respected.
Earlier, it was Jimmy Mains lying on Lew Waters Facebook page:

Tonight, Mains was joined by "Officer" Sean Guard, perhaps best known for pleading guilty to impersonating a police officer.
In response to the effort by the cancer on our community also known as the democratian, who demanded that Pike remove herself from any discussion concerning the CRC revival and, of course, their demand to get loot rail across the river like the infection it is, Liz wrote a letter that tells them, in effect, to drop dead.
She was far more civil about it than I would have been. And that's where Guard felt compelled to shoot off his pie hole, with a remark that, well, is completely false; talks about things he knows nothing about... and all while sounding strangely reminiscent of part of the anti-Pike campaign:

This underhanded kind of scum is Officer Guard's specialty.
This session, of course, Pike HAS "moved legislation" which Rivers, no doubt, will do her best to kill in the Senate.

Both HB 2511 and HB 2417, for example, prime sponsored by Pike, have passed out of the House to the Senate.  Others may have, those are just off the top of my head.

Officer Guard then goes on to double down on his lies:
"Electeds" in this case likely means Rivers, who wants to punish Pike in the worst way.
But unlike this moron, I WAS staff in Olympia.  And any staffer shooting his or her mouth off to a punk like Guard or any OTHER outsider would find themselves subject to summarily being fired.  Just ask Rivers' very first legislative assistant who was fired for that very thing shortly after Rivers' first session in the House started.
Chances of Guard actually hearing that from a "staffer" (unnamed) or an "elected" (unnamed) are roughly the same as his ability to display integrity.
Nonexistent.
But then, that's how Rivers and the rest of the CCRINOs roll.
Now, Guard is acting based on what he's been fed... and is there any doubt that Rivers is the one holding the fork?
Here's a memo, Officer Guard:  Before you swallow bullshit whole cloth, maybe it would be in your best interests to check for yourself if you're being told the truth.
And remember: when you lie... like you've lied here... it's going to cost you.
And why you think you have to shoot off your pie hole on this issue is anyone's guess.
And if anyone doesn't think this isn't a coordinated effort on the CCRINOs part, well, I've got a bridge to sell you that goes across the Columbia River.
This kind of character assassination is typical of these two... and of the political scum they favor.  And neither will be man enough to either admit what they're doing or why they were doing it... just like neither of them will admit they were wrong.

"Don't shoot the messenger," said Washougal's lying scumbag of a mayor.

That people put up with this is astounding.  That these scum have any position of any kind in the political realm?

Even more so.

Having worked so hard to create this monster, the democratian now wants it to play nice.

Once the democratian and their acolytes figured out how to game the system through an "acceptable" charter effort, unlike the one they crapped on two years earlier, they prevailed with the massive fraud of a lie called the county charter, designed in it's entirety to overturn the 2012 election that cost Marc Boldt his job as a commissioner.

The result has been everything I knew it would be.  Domination by leftists Boldt and his winged monkeys, Stewart and Olson/Green; the Three Stooges in their revenge cycle aimed at rolling back every conservative initiative implemented or supported by David Madore.

The Stooges have done absolutely everything anyone paying attention anticipated.  Now, joining with the CCRINO's, they've nazified our electoral system and are seeking out and hunting down every conservative in office, as illustrated by "Gas Tax" Rivers recruiting Shane "Gas Tax" Bowman to take out anti-gas taxer Rep. Liz Pike while recruiting other faux Republicans to run against incumbent conservatives in county government.

What's happened, of course, was the tax increases and regulatory increases that were absolutely foreseeable: a series of 3-2 votes where the leftists on the council slam-dunked the conservatives and trashed everything they accomplished or attempted to accomplish during Boldt's welcome absence from government.

And now, those most responsible for this divide... the democratian itself... has figured out there's a brewing backlash against both the council, the rag, and the CCRINO candidates themselves.

ALL elected officials who have constituents have a duty to respond to those they would govern. They also have a duty to subordinate their own judgment/agenda to those who elected them.

The CCRINO candidates have already shown they have no interest in that responsibility.  Thus, they are running for election ENTIRELY to implement the Steve "Screw You" Stuart school of government thought:

Those moronic enough to support this variety of governmental dictatorship are, of course, entitled.  I choose to take a different view.

But the poison of the Three Stooges has become so rank that the stink of it has impacted those most responsible for it.

Naturally, the rag wants those not in the Three Stooges to join with them, instead of the other way around.  After all, who cares what the people Madore represents wants?  If the Stooges want it, according to the scum at the Columbian, Madore's job is to simply shut up and go along with it:

With that, it is now time for the council to move forward. As The Columbian wrote editorially in January: “Eventually, ideally, not all votes in the Clark County Council will result in a 3-2 count. Eventually, some give-and-take, some dialogue, some compromise will emerge among coalitions that vary from issue to issue.”
No, actually, the "time for that" was back when these leftist scum took office.  But since their agenda is written by the rag and the downtown mafia, there will be no compromise, no "give-and-take."

Why?

Because these lowlifes don't HAVE to "compromise."  Why should they?

And "THEY," of course, aren't the ones the scumbag who wrote this garbage expect to compromise.
That should be what all residents seek from their county government, although it is unquestionable that some hard feelings will remain. It would be a misnomer to suggest that those hard feelings are not manifested primarily by Madore, who has demonstrated a sophomoric inability to deal with those who have the temerity to disagree with him.
And there you have it.

Shut up, Madore; do what you're told, go along with the program, ignore shit like this tripe, bend over and take another from the despicable slime running our county government.

You see, they indict Madore for HIS "...sophomoric inability to deal with those who have the temerity to disagree with him."

Well, what about the nazi-mindset of the scumbag running the rag and HIS "...sophomoric inability to deal with those who have the temerity to disagree with him

And while the leftist scum reading the rag's tripe are nodding their heads in agreement with the moron who wrote that garbage, the requirement that only Madore has "manifested hard feelings" as the leftists on the council engage in THEIR lockstep vote for anti-conservative outcomes are NEVER subject to ANY criticism.

There's more, of course.  But as for me, I sincerely hope that both Madore and Mielke vote "no" on every issue that comes before them.  Anything else is merely giving these shitbirds what they want.

And in the end, it doesn't matter whether a vote is 3-2 or 5-0 against the conservative perspective.  The outcome is yet another loss for us and yet another failure to act by the Three Stooges.

Don't like Madore's bridge idea?

Then come up with something else and something better.  Which none of these scum have yet to do... instead, sitting on their collective asses, doing nothing.

Meanwhile, the lies about Madore from the rag will continue while the Three Stooges are given a pass.  But since the Stooges are carrying Brancaccio's water like they're Gunga Din, that's not surprising.

We have the government we deserve.  The CCRINO scum our hustled and out-thought the rest of the people to ram this crap pile of a charter and the three scumbags running the county down our throats. And I, for one, cannot wait to move out of Clark County as a result.

Sorry Jennifer... can't make it until you respond to the following question that I sent you two weeks ago:
Since the new council of five has been seated, how would you have voted any differently from Boldt, Stewart and Olson?
I'm willing to be schooled: where would you have voted against Boldt on the council?

Rebecca Lineham Hey Kj, why don't you just show up so I can finally meet you? You're so charming and intelligent.
Kj Hinton Sorry... I don't do requests.
Rebecca Lineham Neither does the party hostess -- which is why nobody answered your ridiculously rude question.
Kj Hinton Sorry, Beckster, but as I am a prospective constituent, what you consider to be a "ridiculously rude question," sent 2 weeks ago to her campaign email address and unanswered, comes with the territory.

As an elected official, she has a duty to respond to what would be the most telling question she's faced to date. So, yeah, in fact, she DOES have a duty to respond. Her failure to do so is noted and indicative of the lack of respect she would have for constituents in the unfortunate event she were elected.

That you don't think so is as meaningless as your rejoinder. That she didn't bother to acknowledge it or me goes to the kind of sickening arrogance far too many elected officials display in this day and age of doing and saying the minimum to GET elected... and then forgetting all about the campaign promises made to achieve that end.

Ann Rivers comes to mind.

Her failure to respond means only one thing: there is no difference. She would have voted with the Three Stooges in every instance. And, of course, I figured as much... which means she should not be elected. The last thing we need is more fake GOP sock puppets.

Thanks for YOUR response. It was a HOOT!

Warning Memo for the RNC: you screw around with the outcome of the primaries and you're done.

We're hearing it:word that the RNC is going to screw around with the results of the primaries to keep Trump from being the nominee.

Here's the thing: WHOEVER gets the most primary votes had BETTER be the nominee.

With scum like the cardboard cutout of a worthless congresswoman in this district, slammed into place completely by an utterly worthless Establishment, who's only reason to live is to keep that seat... actually "representing" us be damned... it's not terribly surprising that they'd sink to this level.

Here's the thing:  They can win with us.

But they will lose without us.

What we do out here MUST matter.

If it doesn't, then there's damned little point to having a party.

With recent polling still pointing to Trump as the winner here,  if he rolls into the convention with the most delegates, then the RNC had BETTER support him.

But I would be saying the same thing about ANYONE leading the pack... not just Trump.

Yet, we all know what's going to happen here.

And this will end the GOP as we know it.
