At the outset, let me address the elephant in the room.

Considering the armament this scumbag was carrying, his intent wasn't just to murder the president: it was to kill him and as many others as possible, considering most of the political leadership of the United States was sitting in close proximity... Trump of course, Vance, Johnson, et al, were bunched together and, if given the opportunity and knowledge of trained use, easy targets, except for the Secret Service getting in the way.

Yes, the main target was likely the president. But it was what could best be described as a "target rich environment" for any leftist, murdering opportunist.

Ever since the Obama debacle of a race-based, DEI presidency, I have postulated the left, writ large, operates entirely on hatred.

Not what’s best for the people. Not what’s best for the country. Not on ways to unite us, but instead on just the opposite: ways to divide us.

The reality is clear: leftists hate President Trump enough to want him and his entire family, dead.

The equation of left=violence is an easy one to prove.

Just another hate-filled, programmed, fringe-left teacher.

Leftist scum on the internet will always make the claim that he Omar-ed it when the attempt fails, even though social media is rife with their fellow terrorists giddy at the thought of spilling the president's blood.

They're just pissed that he wasn't successful.

Of course, it's despicable and hypocritical.

Can you imagine their response if, God Forbid, their pole dancing drunk won the election and these attempts had happened to her?

That's what happens when your entire politics are based on hatred. 

The left has been taught to hate. Programmed to hate. And when these attempts have failed, they uniformly express disappointment, their few pro forma denials to the contrary notwithstanding… when they even bother to go through THAT motion…

Locally, the riots, murders, theft, vandalism, arson, assaults the complete disregard for enforcing our laws have been recorded, videoed and institutionalized.

Thousands of miles of video of riots where cities were under siege, literally for months, while leftist leaders applauded, blood of victims was spilled, businesses burned to the ground (you remember… the “mostly peaceful” riots a few years ago?) or looted out of existence, all with either the outright applause of the left or the orchestral leadership of leftist politicians who demand that instead of enforcing the laws of their locality, state or nation they’ve sworn to uphold, every effort must be made to ignore, resist and delegitimize those laws as excuses to not only ignore them, but to actively obstruct their enforcement.

Every so-called “sanctuary” city, county or state is a case in point.

These entities actively obstruct justice, or at least make the attempt to do so. They make, for example, enforcement of immigration law as difficult as they possibly can to protect their illegal alien voter base.

And all of these facts are merely symptoms of the greater disease: leftist hatred.

Leftists, by and large, make no bones about their hatred of Trump, his family, his supporters and, on an even larger scale, this country.

They slavishly support terrorists, they hate Jews in ways that Himmler would be genuinely proud of, almost as much as they hate Trump.

And they have worked unceasingly to institutionalize their hatred by passing laws they KNOW they cannot enforce merely to virtue-signal to their political base that even though politically irrelevant, they’re at least TRYING to do SOMETHING to stop “Orange Man Bad.” (State/local laws banning law enforcement (but not rioters or antifa scum) from wearing masks come to mind)

They label everyone wise enough to oppose them. And everyone opposing them is a nazi, fascist, ignorant, uneducated, pedophile (which is ironic considering Joe Biden repeatedly molested his own daughter) stupid, etc and those are of the more polite terminologies they use.

Simultaneously, they routinely applaud the multiple efforts made to slaughter the president and express dismay, not at the efforts to kill him but instead, at the failures to get it accomplished.

Social media is rife with these dimmer bulbs demanding he be put to death. And some have branched off into the fantasies as to how that can/should be done.

But these same hate-filled psychopaths just elected a state attorney general in Virginia, Jay Jones, who expressed his fantasies concerning HIS desire to slaughter the then Speaker of the Virginia House, Todd Gilbert and his family, specifically including his children.

It's psychotic, to be sure. Instead of condemning this criminal, they elected him.

Instead of replacing him with someone sane, instead of holding this fringe-left nutjob accountable, they lionized him and endorsed him.

Then they elected him.

Imagine, if you will, what the left’s reaction to a GOP candidate for attorney general  would be if such a candidate had expressed those thoughts and desires about a democrat opponent and their family.

We’d never hear the end of it.

This is who the rabid left supports and puts into office.

During the DOGE efforts in the early part of Trump’s most recent term in office, there was a “thundering silence” on the part of democrats (the same tribe who used to scream “silence is complicity” at us) as they applauded the burning and vandalism of Teslas and their dealerships… even though the people who own them are mostly their fellow fringe-leftists… and even though Elon made even MORE money off their criminal efforts through repairing or replacing those cars.

And who can forget their hero Kamala Harris donating to the Minneapolis Rioter fund to get criminals out of jail?

These are symptoms of the democrat disease. Hatred is their motivation. Violence is how they express it. And they’re more rabid in their demands for Trump’s blood than even the muslim government of Iran.

All of which reminds me that it’s time to go buy more ammo.

There will be more attempts. These scum want to play fringe-left hero because they believe that ending Mr. Trump’s life, even at the risk of their own, is the right thing to do and they will eternally be heroes of their fellow terrorists,

Democrats thrive on hatred. They’re programmed to do so; They’re REWARDED for doing so. And when you have a political wing giddy of their comparisons of Trump to Hitler, nazism and fascists, it’s no wonder deranged leftist scum are and will do their best to destroy him, not only politically?

Minneapolis ICE shooting: a good shoot. (With pictures)(Updated with overhead view pre-shooting)

Whenever police officers use armed force when they believe there's a threat to themselves or others, that's referred to as a "good shoot."

By any stretch of even hate-filled imagination, this qualifies as a "good shoot."

I'm assured by someone who disagrees of the following:

He was firing before he stepped in front of her car. I’ve seen it in slow motion over 20 times. He could have moved she wanted to leave he blocked her. He shot her 3 X!!!!! It was completely unnecessary and to call her a domestic terrorist is disgusting.

Well, the person telling me this is wrong.

While in college, I completed the degree requirements for an Administration of Justice AA degree, meaning I had completed training not unlike that of a police officer. I have training in threat assessment and the use of deadly force.

In this instance, I've seen a great many videos from a great many POV's of this incident.

This video, which is part of a presentation by "The Officer Tatum," a former police officer himself, makes it clear that the quoted statement above is in error.

I include the link so the viewer can see what I am talking about.

At this point, ICE officers are rolling up to an illegally parked car which has attempted to block the use of ICE vehicles. The officer involved in the shooting is already on the ground to the passenger-side of the darker vehicle (SUV) in front of the truck

ICE leaves the truck, approached the SUV, tells the driver to get out of the car: (Note the driver's side window is down so the driver clearly heard the command to get out of the car.)

At this point, one of the ICE officers attempted to open the driver side door. Note the car is in reverse and backing up as shown by the backup (white) taillights coming on.

Here, the driver has shifted the car out of reverse. Note the lack of brake lights as the driver shifts the car into drive.

At this point, the ICE officer who fired at the driver has moved to the front of the vehicle (Mostly blocked by the ICE Agent next to the driver side door. Note that he is NOT firing his weapon and, at this point, has yet to draw his weapon.

Looking closely at the lower picture with the arrow makes it even clearer that the Agent had not drawn his gun at this point as the butt of his sidearm is clearly visible still in his holster.

The ICE officer did not draw his weapon UNTIL the vehicle started moving forward. Contrary to the assertion above, he was NOT firing his weapon "before he stepped in front of the car." As this video has shown, he had not drawn his weapon TO fire it as he is clearly in front of the car... and did not do so until the car began to move forward, essentially directly at him.

At this point, she has started to move forward towards the officer in front of the car and it's only THEN that he fires his weapon while also being struck by the vehicle.

Clearly, as the officer fired, the vehicle is moving forward towards him.

He fires again as the vehicle continues to move forward 

At this point, it's likely the driver had been shot in the head and the vehicle continues to move forward, picking up speed until the SUV rammed what appears to be a parked car roughly 60 yards down the road.

He fired 3 times, apparently, and I do not know for a certainty that he hit her 3 times.

But when it comes to training, the training is to stop the threat. Ultimately, that's what happened.

And typically, when police fire their weapon, it's rare that they only fire once when they feel their lives or the lives of others ARE endangered.

From this angle, it appears to be clear that the ICE officer was struck by the vehicle. The blur in front of the vehicle is from the vehicle hitting the officer. (This is also part of the Tatum video)

You can hear the first shot only AFTER the vehicle hit the officer, again disproving the allegation that he was firing "...before he stepped in front of the car."

For many, their strong feelings in the entire deportation issue cloud their judgement. They frequently believe what they're told, even in the face of actual evidence. I, on the other hand, am "cursed" by actual training and knowledge of when to use deadly force.

This is one of those times. Those ICE officers were there with actual, specific, arrest warrants. And these people have been so thoroughly programmed that they didn't care.

The left is upset that ICE is arresting people WITHOUT warrants... and they obstructed THESE officers who HAD warrants.

Clearly, the issue of warrants is merely an excuse. And comments by the Minneapolis City Council, who voted overwhelmingly to disbanding their police department is the kind of thing that has resulted in a massive increase in assaults against ICE officers and other violence the left has perpetrated.

In the end, this was a "good shoot."

It's tragic in its own way, but the reality is that all too often, stupid games result in stupid prizes.

This is one of those times.

I'm sure lawsuits will be filed. After all who has deeper pockets than the Fed?

But realistically, there's no grounds to sue anyone but local police who clearly failed to do their jobs, for whatever the reason, to protect ICE Officers as they were doing THEIR jobs.

Tis the season. To avoid becoming a target.

Sadly, in addition to celebrating the birth of Jesus, it's the season to get shot by terrorists.

I've made it clear, and reiterate that in the modern era of crime generally and terrorism particularly, we all should be armed; an armed society being a polite society notwithstanding.

The point of this post is simple. And it can save your life.

Typically, we're going to a great many locations that shooters would tend to go... otherwise known as "soft targets."

There isn't enough security available to provide armed guards for them all.

If you react to the criminal activities of this era, then you're already armed.

You're not going to be wandering around with a locked and loaded M4 rifle. But you likely may have a handgun that you've practiced with, understand the function of, and can take off "safe" (if you carry with it in safe mode) and can operate in pitch darkness, without looking.

You're generally aware of cover and concealment that's available. You're generally aware of the people around you and ABSOLUTELY aware of where your family members in the soft target environment are at all times.

Which brings us to the point of this post.

Put yourself/family in situations like those of the recent shootings.

What.
Do.
YOU.
DO?
(The Bondi Beach massacre should put to rest the insane idea that either voluntary or involuntary DISARMAMENT somehow protects you OR society. See, the criminals/terrorists killing us really DON'T care about your anti-gun laws that we typically don't enforce regardless.)

The time to ponder these issues is NOT once the bullets start flying.

NOW is the time.

In a "negative shooting environment," there's only so many things you (or anyone else) CAN do.

My priorities are to protect my family and protect the innocents around me.

But what would you do to achieve that goal?

As it turns out, the massacre by Muslim terrorist shooters saw at least 3 heroes who disregarded their own safety in confronting and attempting to disarm those murdering unarmed people in a soft target environment.

All 3 were shot. Two of them were killed. The most successful was shot twice but ultimately disarmed one of the shooters. And it is of note that this man, Ahmed Ahmed, is a Muslim as well.

But these people didn't go through a checklist of religion or race before they acted.

They acted. They may not have thought through their efforts first.

But for the couple who wound up dead, their math was relatively simple: these guys are likely going to kill us anyway, so let’s go down swinging. And their effort, their sacrifice was as noble as that of any heroic figure who put the lives of the innocent ahead of their own.

The video of Ahmed indicates something different.

Unarmed, he had both cover AND concealment. Had he continued covered and concealed, he likely would have survived this shooting.

His math was different.

He instantly made the decision to likely risk/end his own life to stop the threat. He picked his spot.

And he acted.

And he nearly died in that process.

What would I have done in the same circumstance? What would you have done? What would you have your family do?

Well, if you’re armed, you can do a hell of a lot more than become a target.

I would like to believe that 8 years in combat arms provided me with the programming and abilities I would need, particularly since I would be armed and most shooters are NOT prepared for returned fire.

The situations go far beyond the “if only” phase post mortems once the smoke clears.

I’m not going to tell you what to do or not do. YOU have to find out on your own.

*I* know what *I* would do. And that would include defending your life with my own.

But that’s my PERSONAL decision, made not in the heat of the moment, but after a great deal of consideration, a great deal of training, a great deal and a great deal of studying the actions of those others pulling the triggers to make their political/religious/societal point.

NOW is the time to plan. NOW is the time to determine what you would or would not do. NOW is the time to discuss this with your family in an age-appropriate way. NOW is the time to, perhaps, introduce them to the reality of the world we live in today.

Since, if you find yourself in the midst of one of these situations, it’s way too late.

When a mass shooting doesn't fit the narrative: where's the description of the shooter(s)?

A day or so ago, there was a mass shooting at a birthday party in Stockton, CA, where 4, including 3 children, were killed in what authorities are claiming was a targeted attack. Additionally, several were wounded. There were several witnesses.

Authorities claim it was a "a targeted shooting."

The shooter(s?) are still at large. Authorities insist they're doing everything they can to track the shooters down.

Are they?

So... where's the description of the shooters?

Doing everything they can except provide a description? Or police sketches of those pulling the trigger?

There's nothing out there beyond the height (5'6") and one of the shooters was wearing black pants?

Why is that?

They obviously know more. They likely have cell phone video of those involved (they seem to conclude there may have been more than one) yet they've released no pictures and no video of the incident.

How come? How does keeping the pictures/description of the shooter(s) secret increase the chances of finding him/them?

If the shooter(s) were white, they'd already have videos, pictures and posters up. We all know that.

"Doing all they can" does not include keep the identities of those involved in this horrific crime a secret.

Why?
