Long ago and far away... I was sworn in Regular Army the day I finished my degree at Eastern Washington.
She just sent me these pictures this morning... it was a paltry 34 years ago...
I had been commissioned in the Reserves the year before when I completed ROTC at the UW. I had to be sworn in again to go Regular Army.
The top picture was when a local general did the deed... the second was moments after and the third is with my sister-in-law immediately after.
Time flies when you're having fun.
