As expected, Jim Moeller and the rest of the CRC scum's collective head exploded today when told of the near-certain death of the CRC. Moeller sniveled thus:
"A new bridge design that would put us out of the federal funding window for a generation."
What this simple idiot doesn't understand, or refuses to acknowledge is that the people of this county DO NOT WANT HIS SCAM, HIS RIP OFF, TO EVER BE BUILT.
No consideration of the concerns expressed in Sen. King's letter: this slimeball DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANY OF THAT.
In short, his typically whiny, sniveling response (Oddly missing his trademark arrogance, though) STRENGTHENS the opposition to this crap hole.
The PEOPLE... DO NOT.... WANT THIS.
Put us out of the window for a generation?
I would much rather be out of that window PERMANENTLY, and so would the majority of the people in this county.
See, here's the problem: we all know about the scam. This entire rip off is a way to build this project without getting our approval, and as the Oregon Supreme Court has told us the scam was in, start to finish.
All of the crap Moeller goes on to spew:
Ten years of outright lies, where the people were kept out BY POLICY from having ANY IMPACT.
$160 million wasted for a rejected design.
"Expert review panels" recruited and paid for by the CRC... as if they would come up with any other alternative.
A "locally preferred alternative" that the locals, meaning THE PEOPLE, DO NOT WANT.
A federal record of decision based on lies like Moeller's and his fellow scum who ignore all the opposition and all the inconvenient facts.
That Moeller actually believes ANY of the garbage he troweled out here justifies any of this shows the depths of how twisted he is.
And the last part of his babble:
No money.
Since the whole thing was a con... a scam... and those who were in on the process willing and well-paid dupes, it's obvious that Moeller is just pandering to his fellow union scum and that Sen. King is directly on target.
Moeller is just a pathetic creature. he doesn't care about his community; he doesn't care about the impacts of yoking tens of thousands of families to the absurdly high tolls he demands FOR DECADES, and he refuses to allow us to have a voice.
It takes a special kind of scum to be so utterly corrupt, and frankly, perhaps he might consider ritual suicide as a way to protest this obviously needed effort to rein in this massively corrupt and out of control rip off that would make Al Capone blush in its width, breadth and audacity.
But that's hardly a reason to be proud of it... or lie about it.
Right, Rep. Moeller?

Sen. King is essentially asking for re-design "do over". A new bridge design that would put us out of the federal
funding window for a generation. Over 10 years of study, 160 million dollars spent by both states, expert review
panels, six independent governmental agencies approval, a locally preferred alternative and a federal
record of decision have already been completed. Sen King proposes 10 lanes, BRT instead of LTR and a lift section
among others. All these ideas have evaluated and rejected through an extensive, professional
and local process.

No money.
All these ideas have evaluated and rejected through an extensive, professional and local process. And here's the crux of the lie.
