OT: RIP Caroll Shelby

The Shelby Cobra... The Shelby Mustangs... The Cobra cars... The David from Texas defeating the Goliath from Italy when no one gave him a chance.

While Circumstance guided me to race Chevy products, I'll always owe Caroll Shelby a debt for piquing my imnagination when he "kicked Ferrari's ass" back in the early 60's.

Recently, one of his cars from the "ass-kicking" era sold at auction for $5.5 million.

Well done.
