Notice the metal strip attached to the top of the grenade... it's blue.
The grenade itself is old school, pineapple variety, more popularly known as a "Mk2".
This, then, is a static display grenade, built entirely for training and is NOT a "live grenade."
Blue is the universal military training color. Any piece of ordinance with blue on it is for training use ONLY.
So now, people reading this trash will actually think this is what grenades look like (Current grenades... M26 variety, are closer to a baseball() and that we had one next to the fair.
