So, after declaring the Kelso teacher's extortion "illegal," he fails to find them in contempt.

This is the ultimate in confusing motion... with action.

As detailed below, Cowlitz County Superior Court Judge David Koss did the right thing by finding the teacher-extortion effort by Kelso teachers to be "illegal."

He then proceeded to do the WRONG thing by failing to order them back to school Monday morning... (ordering them, instead, to be there Tuesday morning... for some reason) even after the union scum made it clear that that they would ignore the Court's order.

The hypocrisy of teachers ignoring a Court's order and then complaining about the Legislature when they do the exact same thing (though the Legislature is Constitutionally protected from any action by the 9 morons across the street) is only bypassed by the Judge's failure to act once he found out he was being flipped off by the extortionists in question.

Now, he's compounded his weakness by failing to act immediately by finding the teacher's in contempt, arresting their union leaders and then levying high fines ($100,000 a day or so) and then fining the teachers individually... followed by locking them up alphabetically... and permanently revoking their credentials so they can't teach.

The rest of the school districts in the state are watching this; an opportunity has been provided to make these people an example.

And the judge has blown it.  Big time.  Now providing nothing BUT incentives for these union scum to abandon their children whenever they feel like it to hold the system hostage to their outrageous demands.

Kelso teachers not in contempt, hearing set for Friday

Teachers won't pay fines

KELSO, Wash. (KOIN) — Kelso teachers won’t be held in contempt of court for striking, a judge ruled on Wednesday.

A hearing was set for Friday to revisit the issue. Until then, the teachers won’t be fined.

The Kelso School District requested an injunction from the judge to stop the strike earlier this week, but the teachers overwhelmingly voted to defy that order and remain on strike.

They requested a hearing for Monday, and the judge’s ruling on Wednesday is viewed as a compromise between the school district and the teachers.

Teachers have been on the picket lines since last Wednesday, when district officials and educators failed to reach a contract agreement over pay and other issues.

Kelso teachers who spoke with KOIN 6 News said they want to be in line with what teachers in nearby Longview make.

Under the Kelso district’s current proposal, Kelso and Longview teachers would make similar salaries.
