Royce Pollard: How did this guy not get fragged?

FULL DISCLOSURE:  I freely admit that I am totally opposed to Marc Boldt's election this time, just as I was last time, since he's completely sold out to the left; forgotten/ignored GOP principles, supports the CRC scam in it's entirety and wants to hang tolls around our neck for the next several decades that would destroy a great deal of small business in Clark County as a result.

NO candidate or campaign or anyone involved or in any way concerned with any candidate or campaign was aware of or approved or had input into this post.

Further, Marc Boldt is my brother-in-law, and I worked for him as his legislative assistant for 6 years while he was in the state house, 1994 - 2000.)

One of the things you can count on around here is the hatred of our local leftist core towards anyone to the right of Mao.

Like former Lieutenant Colonel Royce Pollard, I was a serving Army Officer (Regular Army, as far as that goes.)

Like Pollard, I spent a fair amount of time in combat arms.  My peculiar forte' was being school trained in Recon (Cavalry) and, ultimately, becoming a trainer in Infantry weapons of the crew served varieties... M60 Machine Gun, M2 .50 Cal (The Infamous "Ma Deuce") and TOW Missiles.

Pollard, among others, was sent down here to Ft. Vancouver to watch his career die.  He took the hint and retired out to become perhaps the biggest elected asshole up until Tim "The Liar" Leavitt lied his way into office by becoming, for purposes of the election, the anti-Pollard.

He was exactly the same, politically, as the clown he replaced.  And if there has been any single positive outcome of The Liar's election, it was the end of No Choice Royce's political meddling in this area.

Now, as a part of the process of getting a commission, there are some expectations placed upon the neophyte officer wanna-be.  One of them is at least a passing knowledge of the Constitution of the United States (which all of us are supposed to defend from all enemies, foreign and domestic) and, as an elected official of some longevity, he's also supposed to have some passing acquaintance with the laws and the Constitution of the State of Washington.

Among those laws that he should know about are the laws of elections in this state.

There is nothing illegal, immoral or unethical about the write-in candidacy of Rep. Pike for the County Chair.

I get that it angers supporters of my brother-in-law, Marc Boldt.  We're evenly buffeted between the ignorants who assure us that this action has, somehow, given the election to a true democrat, Dalesandro; while others assure us that the fake Republican, Boldt, is still going to win.

But at the end of the day, both sides of this issue (Boldt supporters and Dalesandro supporters) are whining and bitching and moaning like cut cats over the write-in campaign which merely serves to show that their TRUE thoughts on this subject are that the write-in campaign genuinely represents a threat to Boldt and that they see this the way I do: that Boldt and Dalesandro split the leftist vote which means a win for the write-in.

So, we get garbage like this from Pollard:

The moment I read that, the first thought that crossed my mind is that it's a miracle this slime ball didn't get fragged by his troops in Vietnam.

He clearly infers that the write-in is not as "legally qualified" as the two leftists on the ballot.

He knows it is, of course.  And he publicly shares the view that many Pridemore supporters shared in the last election as a reason to vote for one of the two leftist wing nuts on the ballot.

But in the end, this senseless bleating shows nothing but his hatred of Madore and his effort to manipulate the more ignorant who are being used as tools by the likes of a charter member of the downtown mafia who desire a somewhat more malleable county chair.

And either Boldt, who was a leftist puppet for the 8 years he was on the commission, or the ignorant Dalesandro will fit that bill.

Pike?

Not so much.

And that leads to the utter tripe spewed by someone I am, quite literally, am ashamed wore the same uniform as I.
