The idiocy of last night's kibuki theater.

Last night's petulant performance by Democrat Commissioner Steve Stuart will go down in history as one of the most partisan shows of disdain for the process (Oh, My, God... The PROCESS!)  in the history of this county.

Stuart, who started this evening's idiocy before the pledge and the prayer, acted like a punk.  "Spoiled brat" came to mind.

The first thing this clown does is to AGAIN violate Ethics Rules by claiming that Commissioners Mielke and Madore colluded on changing the agenda BEFORE the meeting, and that he, therefore, was going to file an ethics complaint against both Madore and Mielke.

He was wrong, of course.  It's kinda like he breathes, therefore, he's wrong. And as I ponder filing an ethics complaint against Stuart for his unforgivable, partisan behavior, I'm reminded of my moments-ago response to Brancaccio's latest idiocy:

Well, Lou, you hear what happened this morning?

Sen. Benton went to work at the county. Much like he's going to tomorrow. and the day after that. And the weeks and months after that.

Meaning, your jihad will have accomplished.... what, exactly?

Nothing.

With the exception of Mielke wising up and moving the agenda around, it pretty much played out the way I expected it, Stuart's idiocy, and subsequent retraction of his slander notwithstanding.

These clowns were a lynch mob.  The usual suspects, union and leftist scum, whipped into a frenzy by the Stuart-orchestrated, useful tool Brancaccio showed up to bleat like the fringe-left sheep they are.

There is little doubt that Brancaccio is reveling in the attention he's getting.  But there is also little doubt that none of this will make any difference.

Even though the rag briefly, and quickly mentioned the fact that the commissioners did nothing wrong:

"However, the county provides a few exceptions to the requirement that job positions be publicly advertised, and says elected officials have the discretion to appoint department heads."

They continue on in their efforts to politically kill their arch enemies: Benton, Mielke and Madore.

The rag directly has acknowledged that the Commissioners did nothing wrong.

And they don't care.  Pummel those who stand in your way... not because it's right...

... but because you can.

And that's a shame.  Instead of a force for building this community up, Brancaccio is a cancer for tearing it down.  And he reinforces that fact with every word he prints.
