Is Brancaccio making an effort to peel the rag off the CRC?

Maybe.  But it's too little, too late.

It's not unlike a guy beating his wife, and then hollering out how "sorry" he is as the police bust the door down.

But this was his snivel this morning... something that might have made a difference had he wrote it years ago and then duct taped John "Cockroach" Laird's keyboard shut.

CRC missteps 

There have been so many missteps on this Columbia River Crossing project that if it was entered on "Dancing With The Stars," it would be voted off before Mike Tyson. It's just mess after mess. The tomfoolery is epic. Even its most ardent supporters would agree with this. For me, I hold my nose and close my eyes, and say we should move forward.

But I understand those who oppose it. A price should be paid for all of the buffoonery. And, in some ways, I suspect a price is being paid. When you think about it, why wouldn't every local politician, why wouldn't the vast majority of local residents be in support of something like this? The idea that government can continue on its merry way because "well, it's the government" is getting old. 

Emotional bank account because of this government action? A withdrawal.

If I didn't know better, I'd say this is the start of the rag running for the exits.

That it's a "mess" seems to be news to Lou.  Calling this is a "mess" like saying that it was a little chilly in the water after the Titanic went under.  It's been stupidity wrapped in idiocy.  It's been lies wrapped in posturing.  We don't want it, we've never wanted it, it solves nothing and enriches the few at the agony of the many.

Lou claims he "understands" those of us smart enough to want to drop this rip-off into the river.  yet, neither he, that moron on the editorial page, or that rag he runs has ever shown that "understanding."

How many times has these sleaze-bag or one of his minions attacked those of us smart enough to oppose this rip off?

And THIS scumbag allowed that little worm asshole running the editorial page to refer to those of us wanting other solutions has "cockroaches."

In his delusional state, this moron would have us all support this rip off ANYWAY.

And how fricking stupid an idea is that?

It's too late, Lou.  It's too late for that scummy rag you run; it's too late for you to save your job and it's too late for you to even TRY and regain some level of now non-existent credibility.
