I've refused to buy anything from Amazon or the others who engage in an effort to socially engineer the society of this state by buying changes that are harmful to this state.
I admit they have the "right" to do all this, just like I have the "right" to avoid patronizing them. Your mileage may vary.
The announcement was yesterday, as the TDN put it,
The program was announced on the two-year anniversary of the Tucson, Ariz., shooting that killed six people and left then-U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords critically injured. It also came a month after a gunman in Newtown, Conn., opened fire in an elementary school, killing 20 children and six adultsOf course, none of the weapons used in those killings were, in fact, "illegal," and no one would accept $200 for an "assault weapon" when you could get 3 to 5 times more than that on the street.
"Motion?" Or "action?"
Seattle, best remembered in gun circles as the city where Mayor McCheese violated the state's constitution by summarily banning guns from parks... legal or no (And we KNOW those carrying illegally certainly obeyed THAT order... right?) is very big about the splash.
In this case, the "splash" is a political effort to make people believe that they are actively solving a problem.... kind of like Ridgefield Barbie making people think she actually opposes the CRC scam.
Where's their announcement about school security? Where's their announcement about keeping our kids safer?
Must have missed that.
Hey, did we not have this issue locally? with both the City of Vancouver AND Clark County? And because there is a state constitution about firearms, you really can't ban them?
