Luke's LEGO-cy Carnival
- Today
- 5:00pm until 9:00pm
- Come join in the 2nd Annual Luke's LEGO-cy Carnival!! Again this year it will include: Carnival Games/Jump House/Lego Contests/Luke's Lego-cy T-Shirts/Dunk Tank/Concessions/ Prizes...and a whole lot of fun for a great cause and in honor of an amazing boy!!! Please know... that everyone is welcome. We want to invite you whether you knew Luke or not, whether you attend King's Way or not. The event honors Luke, but in essence, it's your laughter and desire to give back that celebrates him.
Luke Jensen touched our lives in countless ways as he fought a difficult battle against cancer. Luke passed away May 6, 2010 and this event is designed to celebrate his laughter, love, faith and always positive outlook. It is also to care for those battling for their lives-to gather Lego's for those children who need a bright spot in their day, and to raise money to support those who reach out to cancer patients in our area. Please join us in celebrating Luke and giving back to our community! Last year we were able to contribute over $16,000 to local cancer organizations as well as thousands of dollars worth of LEGO's.
Suggested donation is a boxed set of Lego's. Tickets will be on sale for Carnival Games and we are hoping to again get our hands on a dunk tank(Mr. Jensen has already agreed to put in his time)! Concessions will also be open with dinner and snack options, as well as Luke's Lego-cy T-shirts to purchase. All proceeds will go to cancer related organizations that touched Luke and his family's lives.
Questions, Donations of Prizes/Lego's/Financial Gifts/great ideas or any other need you can think of that you can fill...please contact Vikki Jensen at vikkijensen@msn.com or Gretchen Kipp at gretchandboys@hotmail.com. This will be a team effort to pull of a fabulous night for a fantastic cause! We are so grateful for each of you who lent a hand and came out to support this event. We know without you, this night would not have been so spectacular.
Thank you in advance for helping us do Luke's LEGO-cy even bigger and better than last year! WE LOVE YOU!!See More
